48 in height restriction.

For all the families with short kids, height restriction is 48 inches for all the big slides which is not clearly written on website. Lazy river is barely moving. Not what we are use to. There is a kids play area, and those slides barely move. My 4 year old said they were all broken. This review is only for the water park, otherwise the rest of the day was magical. The beach was beautiful, you see a ton of fish when you snorkel. I hope they don’t continue to over develop and destroy the beautiful land otherwise it will turn into ever other place with dead coral and not a fish or animal in sight.

Fantastic Staff, Great Food & A Relaxing Day at Kuza Beach

We had a wonderful day at Kuza Beach, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Cozumel! First, I have to say that Cozumel is one of our favorite cruise ports because the people are always so warm and welcoming, and Kuza Beach was no exception. Every employee we encountered throughout the day was genuinely friendly, helpful, and seemed to want everyone to have a great experience. A couple of suggestions that I think could make an already great experience even better: The first is the check-in process. We purchased our tickets online in advance, but when we arrived we still had to wait in the same ticket line as guests purchasing admission that day because everyone needed to receive their wristbands first. There were quite a few of us who had already prepaid, so a separate "Prepaid Wristband Pickup" line would really help speed things up for everyone. My second suggestion would be for the water slides. The inflatable rafts tend to end up scattered around, so you often have to go searching for one before you can ride. A designated return area or someone helping collect and return rafts would make the process much smoother, especially on busier days. One tip for future visitors: **If you plan to zipline, make sure you bring closed-toe shoes.** My daughter only had sandals, so she wasn't able to participate. That may have been mentioned somewhere during booking, but I wish it had been a little more prominent because it's easy to overlook. Now for all the things we loved... The water park itself was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. We easily found beach chairs and later a daybed, which was absolutely worth it. It gave us a comfortable sun and shaded place to relax between activities, and it quickly became our home base for the day. The lazy river was one of our favorite attractions! We also enjoyed the slides, and because we visited on a day that wasn't overly crowded, we rarely had long waits for anything. The all-inclusive drinks were exactly what you'd expect at a beach resort, classic house type tropical favorites like margaritas and piña coladas—and service was consistently quick and friendly. The only part of the all-inclusive experience that didn't really impress us was the food at the water park snack area. It wasn't bad, just fairly basic. However, later we took the tram over to the beachside restaurant for lunch, and that completely changed our opinion of the dining. The food there was excellent! The quesadilla station was my personal favorite, and everything else we sampled was fresh and delicious. If you're deciding where to eat, I definitely recommend making your way to the beach restaurant. Although we didn't spend time in the water at the beach, that had nothing to do with Kuza. A recent storm had stirred everything up, so the water was muddy that day. Even so, the beach itself was beautiful, with gorgeous photo opportunities, separate family and adult beach areas, a playground for children, and fun costumed characters walking around taking pictures with guests. The architecture and atmosphere of the beach restaurant were beautiful—an open-air tropical design that really added to the experience. Overall, we had an excellent day. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left, the facilities were clean, and there was plenty to do for both adults and kids. As a travel advisor, I would absolutely feel confident recommending Kuza Beach to my clients, and I would happily return on a future visit to Cozumel.

AMAZING

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what we needed! "We wanted a chill day away from the busy cruise ship, and KUZÁ was absolute paradise. The beach has tons of palm trees for shade and the water is incredibly clear. We just relaxed on our loungers, listened to the live music, and enjoyed the breeze. The staff was super friendly and kept the cold drinks coming all day. Getting a taxi back to the pier was completely stress-free. If you want a beautiful, relaxing beach day in Cozumel, this is the spot!"

amazing

We sailed on Wonder of the Seas and decided to skip the typical ship-sponsored excursions to try out KUZÁ. Best decision ever. The park is a massive breath of fresh air. My kids got to do the water slides over and over with virtually no lines, and the lazy river was actually peaceful instead of being packed wall-to-wall with tourists. Plus, taking the electric tram into a real jungle canopy felt like a cool eco-adventure rather than just another resort pool. 20-minute cab ride from the port, and the staff watched our ship's departure time like hawks. Absolute win for families.

Operator response

What an amazing review, thank you so much! 🌊🙌 We love hearing from Wonder of the Seas guests who took the leap and discovered Kuzá on their own! You nailed it, no lines, no crowds, just pure family fun the way it should be! 🎢 Knowing your kids rode the water slides over and over without waiting makes our day! That's exactly the experience we work so hard to create. 💙 And the electric tram through the jungle canopy is one of our favorite hidden gems, we're so glad it felt like the eco-adventure it truly is! 🌴🌿 Cozumel's nature is something special, and we love sharing it with families like yours. We also take our cruisers' ship schedules very seriously, getting you back on board safely and on time is always our top priority! 🚢⏰ Thank you for trusting Kuzá with your family's day in Cozumel. We hope to see you again on your next visit to the island! 🐚☀️ Kuzá Team

Lazy River!

Lazy River was awesome! Food and drinks were great! Only wish the buffet was available in the water park area. Towels can be rented for $6 each but they don't allow you to swap for dry ones.

Entire property need more investment.

The water park is nice, but it needs more chairs with umbrellas. For the water slice, they have maybe 10 double donuts, and we have to ask people to share, but some people take them and do not share with others: Bar, only one for the entire park. When you ask the attendant for a drink, and he comes back, you already need a second one. They need to invest more in donuts, bars, chairs, and umbrellas. Just a heads-up: the included drinks are the cheapest options; for example, the margaritas were premade and served from a large plastic container, and the vodka was the cheapest brand. If you want to upgrade the drink, you have to pay more. The food included is not bad, but it is not great. The hamburger is an extra charge. The beach. Unfortunately, the date we went (June 2026) was brown and had a lot of seaweed. The buffet does not have many options. Basically, pork, meat, and fish are used to make tacos. The desert is just a little bite of cake. Bottom line, the idea is good, but they need to invest more in the property. You don't get the VIP experience that the rest of the beach club in Cozumel offers.

Operator response

Dear Visitor Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the water park, but we’re truly sorry that several aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations. We regret the inconvenience caused by limited seating, availability of tubes, and bar service. We also appreciate your comments regarding drink quality, food options, and overall value, as they clearly highlight areas where we need to improve. Regarding the beach conditions, factors like seaweed can vary due to natural conditions, but we understand how this impacted your experience. Your feedback is very important to us, and we sincerely appreciate your suggestions as we continue working to improve our facilities and services. We’re sorry we fell short of delivering the VIP experience you expected. Bets Regards

Fun day at Kuza

Brand new location and very nice. The staff was the best of any all-inclusive we've been to. They were very attentive. It was not very crowded this day, but I do think we got lucky because there were only two cruise ships in Cozumel that day. This is definitely a great place for families. The food was not our favorite however and we are hoping they will change a few things. For example, their red menu on the waterpark side was not very appealing, but the blue menu was. The blue menu was a la carte. We opted not to pay for any food. We ended up on the beach side and ate at the buffet and it was still just ok. We are foodies. That will not deter me from going again because the water park, pool, lazy river, beach and especially the staff were all so awesome.

Operator response

Dear 611sheilaw Thank you so much for your detailed review! 😊 We are delighted to hear you enjoyed our facilities and that our team made such a positive impression. We also appreciate your feedback about the food and as you mentioned, we will keep it in mind for our continuous improvements. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another great day! 🌊

Not worth the money, won't be returning

Overpriced for what you get. The pool area was nice with plenty of lounge chairs, although the water looked a bit cloudy. The waterslides were fun but that only lasts so long. The drinks were truly terrible. My pina colada had ice chunks. Only Dos Equis is included with the wrist band, not Tecate. The bartenders were snarky when my husband ordered hi drink and one rolled his eyes at me when I asked if they had Dr. Pepper. I was also told in a sarcastic tone that they don't have straws, but lo and behold the bars on the beach did with better cups. The food was awful and like another reviewer mentioned, caused some GI upset. The beach was fine but rocky and full of seaweed. People kept falling trying to get out of the water because there is a steep drop off right when you enter. The distance from the beach to the pool was a 10 min walk or a short tram ride, so that's fine. I did not use the snorkeling gear so I cannot comment on that. It is a $35 taxi ride each from the port. Overall for my husband and I, we spent $240 for about 5 hours at resort. We won't be returning.
