The Bombay Hills are a range of hills to the south of Auckland, New Zealand. Though only a small and seemingly insignificant range of hills, they lie at the southern boundary of the Auckland region, and serve as a divide between Auckland and the Waikato region. directly named after the ship Bombay, The ship itself was named after the Indian city of Bombay (now Mumbai). Bombay Means: a breed of black short-haired medium-sized cat.

Take a scenic adventure boat trip, and travel up to 14km in the sea to the world-famous Cathedral Cove, spectacular massive sea caves, marine reserves, reefs and more. A photographer's dream offering an intimate encounter with the Coromandel's stunning coastline, this amazing boat tour visits world famous Cathedral Cove. See all the highlights in one hour including the remote coast with its spectacular sea caves, and when the tide conditions are right, you will have an opportunity to visit the hidden underground blowhole. Encountering Penguins, seals & dolphins are a delight when they take their time out of their busy schedule to visit you in the bay. The magnificence of this natural volcanic scenery is legendary and the approach by sea, combined with an insightful yet relaxed commentary further enhances your overall experience.
We stop to get a cafe style lunch (included) and a comfort break before we continue our journey to Hot Water Beach.
Deep within the earth a natural spring runs beneath Hot Water Beach, bubbling up to emerge through the sand in the form of naturally heated mineral water. At the southern end of the beach, it’s possible to dig your own hot pool in the sand. Relaxing in your own spa pool meters from the Pacific Ocean is a very unique feeling!
After an exhilarating fun-filled adventure experience at Coromandel, it is now time to head back to Auckland to conclude your evening and drop-off at your hotel in Auckland.
