Highly recommended! Abdullah is a super knowledgeable and engaging guide. He made the whole experience both informative and fun.
Very passionate and knowledgeable about Azerbaijan history. He remembers every single thing with a lot of details. We also went to non-touristy areas.
This was probably the best city tour I have ever been on! The guide was excellent with an astonishing knowledge of history and culture. He was professional, organised and tailored the day to the group's needs. The tour was hugely entertaining and I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!
As a tour operator, I’m always on the lookout for knowledgeable, engaging guides to enhance the experience for my groups—and Abdullah absolutely delivered during our tour of Old Baku. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Abdullah is not only incredibly informative but also brings a warm, fun energy that made the history and culture of the city come alive. He kept everyone in the group engaged with his storytelling, local insights, and great sense of humor. I booked Abdullah to guide my group through the highlights of the Old City, including the Maiden Tower, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, and the charming narrow streets of Icherisheher. He struck the perfect balance between historical detail and light-hearted interaction, which my group thoroughly appreciated. I highly recommend Abdullah for anyone visiting Baku—whether you’re a on your own, a family, or a group like mine. I’ll definitely be booking him again for future tours.

If you are interested in deep understanding of Azerbaijans history, just go with Abdullah! Among the best tours I have done globally,
The best part of my trip to Azerbaijan was, hands down, the walking tour of the old city, rightly called “Coolest Walking Tour in Baku”, by Abdullah. From the very beginning, I was intrigued and engrossed in Abdullah’s incredible narration of the history of Azerbaijan and the world. Our common love for history and languages made this an interesting and enriching experience. The cherry on the top was that it was just me on the tour, which made it easier to have a one on one conversation and freely ask questions that I had, which Abdullah very kindly and patiently answered. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re a history buff, and even if you aren’t, trust me, Abdullah’s storytelling will have you engrossed, and the charm of old Baku will leave you breathless and in awe of its sheer beauty. Do not miss this incredible opportunity offered by a person who is so passionate about history that he will transport you to another time while being fully present in the moment.
