What an amazing, authentic experience. I shed some tears at the beauty of Connemara and the fjord. Breathtaking scenery and history, and our guide, Shane, was a great guide.
Seamus was the best guide! Informative with great myths and history told with lots of humor and some personal touches. We had a great day. Also excellent driving our bus on tiny roads. Thanks Seamus ❣️
This was a very good trip. Nothing went wrong, I enjoyed it very much. Here are 30 more characters because it needs me to say more in order to hit the next button.
Great day trip that allows you to see and learn about the Irish countryside on the way to and from the castle and abbey. Seamus was a knowledgeable and fun loving guide whose commentary was interesting and informative. Enjoyed shopping at the stops too. Highly recommend!
Our guide Seamus was very cool and filled with fascinating details about the destinations. We had a wonderful time and can recommend.
This was my second trip to Kylemore Abbey with Lally Tours, and it was just as brilliant as the first. Seamus is an amazing tour guide. He has a real charm for storytelling and kept us interested the whole way through. He mixed history with plenty of humour and made it concise, so it never felt boring. He knew when to give us some time to process the information in between his narration. He also played music when he wanted us to really take in the beautiful landscape. He kept everyone entertained from start to finish. I’d definitely book with Lally Tours again and would highly recommend them to my friends
Seamus was an enthusiastic and well informed guide who kept us entertained with stories while expanding our knowledge of the area.
Seamus was a great guide. He was very organized and his narration made the bus ride go by quickly. He even played fun music to enhance his stories. The bus was comfortable and we felt very safe. The scenery was beautiful and the abbey was very impressive, especially the English walled gardens. We would highly recommend this tour! Two thumbs up!
Great guide. Lots of toilet breaks, beautiful scenery. A must do if you want to sit back and enjoy the ride
I used my car to tour the Connemera peninsula (which allowed me to stop wherever I wanted for however long I wanted). Along the way I stopped at two castles: Aughnanure castle at the entrance to the peninsula (abandonned but worth a stop) and the Kylemore Abbey (well maintained and well worth visiting) and its gardens also worth visiting. After that there are a few spots worth stopping at for great views. Overall, this is a whole day affair and make sure you reserve 3 hours for kylemore abbey, its gardens, and lunch. This experience was made exta special for me because I visited the peninsula on a warm and sunny day.
