Our guide, Sandro, was excellent. He was born & raised in Rome and was very passionate and knowledgeable of the ‘Colosseo’. His explanations were interesting & interactive. 75 minutes was enough time to tour Levels 1 +2. Especially in the heat of August. Paid $280 for 2 adults for a group tour that ended up being a private tour. Private might be the way to go to avoid having to use headsets.
Worst experience ever with T and T Empire do not use them. The tour was supposed to start at 9.00 am but we didnt get going until 9.15 and were told that we only had a very short time to look around the forum and palentine hill due to the ticket timings for the coloseum. Then we were not allowed in due to the wrong tickets being booked and the tour was cancelled. I heard the quide say this happens a lot. GYG told me this tour didnt exist anymore and had been removed but T and T never told us. Still waiting for my refund .
We sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This seems to be a case of mistaken identity, as the experience you described does not match our tours at all. We are Discover Rome Tours, not T&T Empire Tours. We have been operating tours in Rome for over 20 years and take great pride in delivering professional, high-quality experiences. A 15-minute delay and having the wrong tickets is simply not how we do business. It sounds like you had a truly frustrating experience, and we completely understand why you would be upset. Our suggestion would be to repost your review on the correct page for T&T Empire Tours so that other travelers can be aware, and so that the right company can address your refund directly. If you need any help identifying which booking belonged to them versus us, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Paulo was amazing on his knowledge of the history. No Colosseum visit is complete unless you do the night underground tour. A difficult ticket but worth the effort.
We had Georgia as our guide she was amazing friendly and provided the best information!
The tour was amazing, a little rushed but still got through everything!
Paul was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and fun to interact with.
Very informative and left enough time for pictures overall one of the better tours
Georgia was great and the tour was awesome! The company was responsive.
Our tour guide Milan was awesome. He spoke very good English and was a very kind, nice easy going guy. We came away very happy with our experience and new knowledge about the colosseum. It was a super hot day and he was really mindful of thinking where best to take us knowing where we'd get a breeze/ shade which made it all the more enjoyable!
Georgia was very informative. Had a great time with her.
