Iris is awesome...she made the experience exactly what we hoped it would be.
It was a very interesting and learning experience. The guide was very enlightening and professional. I really liked to know the history of this city that in the past was a great empire and how it expanded at that time. I recommend this guided visit.
Excellent tour. Ivan was an amazing guide and really brought ancient Roman history alive with information, anecdotes, humor & his own insights. The timing of sunset is perfect! Highly recommended.
our guide was Ivan, very nice, clear, accurate, full of facts and information, you can see that he is in love with what he is talking about. An extremely pleasant walk!
We had a blast with this walking tour ! To my surprise, the guide was barely 20 and a true representative of Gen Alpha at least when it comes to language and speaking style. But in spite of his youth , he went down to produce a ton of historically, accurate facts, and packaged them nicely and entertainingly for a crowd which I can only imagine is used to very fast delivery of information. Not stuffy at all. My child was never bored. I also saw the other young people being very engaged. The only thing that bother me is that he kept calling me, “Madame”, which I am, but that’s not his business:). I would highly recommend the tour, especially to younger generations. You will not be bored to believe me. And maybe you will learn something. Gave the guide ( Ivan) a generous tip! I would’ve gone to other tours with him that I had availabilities. I mean, he definitely tried to come up with something new, keeping it still funny but PG I only had to cover my ‘s ears once ( just kidding, we all know we’re talking about Roman emperors there). The site is truly amazing especially at sunset. We have the best photos of the Roman forum with the sun setting in the background.. will remain one of my greatest memories from this visit!
They charged us for the exterior visit without the right to a refund, and you have to give a minimum of 15 euros as a tip to the guide.
They treat you like a person! Thanks Alexandra! We could not walk the entire distance so she showed us where to meet up with the tour later to see the Coloseum, one of our bucket list places!
Be warned! Company can change locations without notice! Totally stripped us of colosseum experience - because of them we weren’t able to get in
We respectfully disagree with this review. The claim that the location was changed without notice is simply incorrect. No changes were made to the meeting point, itinerary, or tour route for this departure. All participants received the same meeting instructions and tour information as advertised at the time of booking. We always strive to communicate clearly with our guests and take such allegations seriously. Given that no location changes occurred, it is possible that the reviewer may be confusing our tour with another experience or provider. For this reason, we do not believe this review accurately reflects the experience that was offered or the information provided to participants.
