It worked really well. What we appreciated was being able to go your own pace, and when you heard enough you just moved on.
Great option to see Coimbra! No need to pay $100 for basicly same your. Your choice as to weather you wanted to go into various museums or not and a great feature to stop and ho into shops or get a coffee and resume tour!
was amazed at the size of the diggings and the recreation of fallen parts . Much of it was disabled scooter accessible. fountain area was spectacular . Congratulations to the organization managing it . Lots more to be revealed I am sure

The tour was very easy to follow and gave an excellent overview of the history of the town. I would recommend this tour to anyone but it requires a lot of climbing so beware if you find walking difficult.
Learning about and seeing the Republicas was fascinating. It was also nice to go at our own pace, which allowed us eat lunch, visit some churches, etc. The map function worked well.
Loved the Southgate tour. She was excellent. Would have been nice to have her talk just a little slower so that we didn’t have to pause so frequently but other than that it was great. We signed up for another one!

Complete and concise…this audio guide is such a great way to get the feel for Coimbra. Allows you to do it on your own pace. Wish there guides like this for other places in Portugal.
The self guided tour was easy enough to use but I stopped it halfway. It was getting confusing to follow and it dragged on. Didn’t find the points of interest that well, interesting. Maybe it’s the area or the app or both.
