Don't miss this great experience!

We attended the coffee, honey and chocolate tour and returned the next day for a tour to learn about medicinal plants. The children loved learning about how honey is collected and how coffee and chocolate go from the farm to table. I visited a few years ago and am so impressed by how much this operation has grown and improved. My daughter and I returned for a tour on medicinal plants and I can't recommend this enough. The tour guides were so knowledgable of natural plants and holistic medicine. Lots of hands on activities ,stories and demonstrations.

This tour was awesome!!...

This tour was awesome!! Gigi was very informative and very open to any questions we had! We got to make our own chocolate from scratch and our own coffee from grinding the beans to tasting it afterwards! I would highly recommend this tour, even on a rainy day because the tour is 100% covered with canopy’s!

5 Star’s Very Interesting

Very educational, informative, eye opening, and fun experience. Our guide had a wealth of knowledge about coffee and chocolate and had only been working here for just under 5 months. He answered all of our questions and kept my 12 and 15 year old daughter’s entertained. The grounds of the tour are very pretty. Be sure to take bug spray!

Fantastic experience

We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, GiGi, was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and made the whole experience so much fun. We got to make our own chocolate bars from scratch, brew our own coffee, and I even got to be a helper during the tour. It was such a unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting La Fortuna!

Coffee tour rather bitter and not telling, chocolate tour on the other hand sweet and interesting.

We started the coffee tour and were a bit disappointed with the remarks. The tour also lasted only 20mminutes. The guide went into little to hardly any of the roasting procedures. Finally, we learned that there are three basic coffees. Immediately afterwards we went into the chocolate tour. We liked this one a lot, in contrast. She was informative and interesting. The remarks from the guide provided information about the history from flowering to chocolate. We think our guide was too unaffected for coffee, his heart beat for the chocolate.
