This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Vincent was the perfect tour guide. Vincent blended the history of the Cliffs as well as history of Ireland itself during our hike. Really, very educational. I would highly recommend this for anyone traveling to this area. Loved it!
Vincent and Pat, a local farmer and our guides for the experience were beyond outstanding. They shared detailed information about the Moher cliffs, the surrounding land, the dangers of the Atlantic Ocean, Irish history, and how they became to be our guides. They took us to areas that you would not be able to access without their guidance and access to their farming land. They made the time from 10.00-14.30 humorous and very informative. They were attentive to those that may of struggled with the route. We highly recommend their tour over any coach tour. They were the best! Thank you so much to you both.
Such a great experience. Way better than a bus tour to the Visitor Center. Hiking along the cliffs with frequent stops at various points of view were fantastic. The hike was not strenuous at all. If you are nervous about being close to the cliffs edge we found all very safe. Even spotted puffins on the cliffs below. Patrick and Vinny were exceptional on the knowledge they provided. Thankfully, we kept an eye on the weather and were able to reschedule for the following day when weather was much better. They only cancel for visibly issues. Rain or wind the tour will typically occur. Due to trail closures for maintenance/safety purposes our hike did not end at the Tourist Center. There is always those who try to get a perfect pic resulting in deaths each year causing these trails to be temporarily closed. Still the BEST hike we could have asked for!!
Breathtaking views. Great tour guides with Pat and Vincent. Great history of the area. Would definitely come back next time in Ireland.
Pat and Vincent were both incredible tour guides!! My girlfriend found this online through other reviews and we decided to take a shot on it. We are so glad we did! Pat and Vincent both help construct the walking trails and know them like the back of their hand. You’re able to see all the scenic spots, including some ones off the main path, along with learning some interesting history about Ireland. Both Pat and Vincent were also incredibly kind and accommodating to all hikers involved. We really cannot recommend this experience enough!
Wonderful day. Weather was awesome, scenery was fabelous. Would recommend to anyone. Pat and Vince were awesome
Perfect way to see the cliffs! Pat and Vincent are awesome. For people who hate site seeing we loved this.
We spent the night before in Doolin. Clearly Pat’s cousin knew what path to take, pointed best views and expertly guided us along the cliffs. You can tell that his family has lived on the land for generations. The views were fantastic and incredible plus real value for your money. Although we felt safe, I would avoid taking small children given some of the paths and winds.
It was so great and personalized! I loved every moment of this tour! I would recommend it to anybody else going forward!
Summary: Don’t miss on this! When researching things to do in Ireland, obviously there is a lot of beautiful places to visit but I came across a YouTube channel Doolin tourism and got hooked instantly. The music, pubs, people, beautiful scenery, everything seemed perfect and believe me it was. I found about Pat and the walk there and booked it. It was a perfect experience, we got to meet wonderful Pat and Vincent and also our tour companions. The walk by itself is beautiful, but we also got to hear about the history of the place and some great stories. It’s clear the care that went into putting this together, I think we need more people like Pat in the world. And more Doolin! 😉
