Itinerary
Starting in Doolin, your guide brings you along a breathtaking route upward toward the Cliffs of Moher. The Hike is 5 miles and takes approx. 3.5 hours. We walk at a relaxing pace and there will be plenty of stops along the way for stories and photos.
The tour ends where transportation will be arranged to bring you back to Doolin. Note: Due to repair works, access to the Visitor Centre may be restricted. Admission is only included when access is available. These closures do not impact the overall experience.

Our family of six from the US, including teens to grandma, thoroughly enjoyed our Cliff tour. Our guide Cearbhuil felt like an old friend. Knowledgeable and engaging, her love for her country, people, and the land was captivating and added to the beauty of the hike. She taught us about the medicinal plants along the way and shared some special places very few travelers get to see. We will all remember our day along the Cliffs of Moher. Much much better than a trip to the visitors center. Ollie was also accommodating when we needed to switch our tour time. Thank you to all!! You made our first trip to Ireland truly special.
Due to schedule constraints, my wife and I were unable to take a group tour/hike. We contacted Ollie’s Tours directly, and Ollie arranged an early morning private tour to accommodate our limited schedule. Ronan arrived promptly at our meeting point. He was very engaging and led us on a wonderful hike along the coastline and cliffs. He also provided key insights into the history of the trail and the many beautiful vistas along the way.
We struck lucky today! You want decent weather for a 5–mile hike up to and along the Cliffs of Moher, because the views are exhilarating, and the wildflowers are beautiful. It’s such an unspoiled part of the world. Today, not only did the forecast thunderstorms pass us by, but we had who we think must be Ollie’s best tour guide. Cearbhuil’s super knowledgeable about the countryside and our flora and fauna and she gave us some great insights into local history too. She kept the pace just right, and we felt very lucky to have also seen so many puffins. Highly recommended!
My family had a great time and learned a lot about the local history of the trail and landscape. The trail was a difficult terrain and was at times difficult to hike, so we were greatful for the frequent stops. Definitely recommend wearing hiking shoes and packing a backpack to carry water in, but otherwise had a lovely time.
Phil was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide during the three hour hike. He made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time.
Really good weather for a cliff hike and was not disappointed..“Murph” took us along the ridge and down into town, great day walking and talking with Murph, he’s been walking the cliffs since he was a teen and shared numerous interesting bits of history both new and old.. Murph rocks!

Beautiful walk with some mildly strenuous parts (uphill stretches). Guide was very friendly and knowlegeable and was attentive to safety.
