Cam was amazing! We had an amazing time seeing the sights and listening to Cam's great stories. It was a perfect afternoon in LA. The weather and music were a plus.
Great experience for a full day tour around LA. We were picked up at the airport and taken to all the great places! Completely enjoyed our driver. He had a great personality and was very funny! We went to Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Rodeo Dr, the Hollywood sign, etc. Highly recommend.
What a great day we had with Alexander behind the wheel, driving us around some of LA's most popular, and more esoteric, neighbourhoods. He picked us up from our hotel, the Roosevelt, in a wonderful metallic blue '70s (if I remember rightly!) Cadillac, which turned heads pretty much throughout the wonderful, four-hour experience. LA being a huge town, and having chosen the half-day option (I think they offer an eight-hour option too, but check!), we had to select where we'd like to go, and opted for a trip to downtown LA rather than Venice Beach/Santa Monica, as the latter felt like it deserved a separate trip of its own. I'm so pleased we did, as I have never seen Downtown before and probably wouldn't have made a journey out there specially, and the architecture and vibes are something really very worth experiencing, not to mention the tiny Spanish neighbourhood that is where the town began. Alexander was full of information about the buildings and the locales, a mix of LA 101 and more quirky tales and anecdotes, which was the engaging approach he took throughout the day. We actually started with Sunset Strip and then Beverly Hills, the latter involving ticking off numerous star homes and places of note, very interesting and super fun. We stopped for a coffee at a lovely local café, then Alexander took us to the cemetery to take in Marilyn Monroe's grave (and Hugh Hefner beside her!), his idea, but really something special for me as a lifelong Marilyn fan. It was really quite magical to be able to pay my respects to a true legend and star. After that, Rodeo Drive and the shops, then Downtown, and finally back via the Hollywood Hills with a pitstop to walk up to the Hollywood sign, which was just wonderful. So peaceful and serene, surprisingly so - Alexander took us to a less popular, 'secret' route which was actually brilliant as it was so calm, just us and two other people walking up to the sign. Again, a really special thing. Throughout the trip Alexander was friendly and full of interesting facts and figures. I keep using the word 'special', and it was. It's not a cheap excursion by any means, but as a treat, it really is a truly memorable way to see Los Angeles, the obvious bits but also some hidden gems. Thanks, Alexander!
If you’re looking for a classy way to visit LA, Hollywood & Beverly Hills. Then look no further than Classic Experiences. We had an afternoon tour, customized to what we wanted to see. Cam our driver was the best, down to earth easy going guy who really made the day.
Our client absolutely loved their Convertible LA Tour with Cameron, describing it as “brilliant… such a top bloke and a memorable day. Definitely my pick of the trip.” This was particularly impressive given the context — a packed two‑week itinerary filled with iconic Los Angeles highlights. Despite the full schedule, this experience stood out as the clear favourite. From an agent’s perspective, Classic Experiences were exceptional to work with. Their team was: - Responsive and quick to communicate - Informative, offering clarity and confidence at every step - Flexible and accommodating, ensuring the day included all of the client’s specific requests and landmark visits A seamless collaboration and a standout experience for our traveller.
Alexander was informative, engaging and fun . Learned a lot, saw a lot! It was a great way to see LA!
I can't recommend this tour enough if you want to see the best bit of LA, learn some very cool facts and have a load of fun at the same time. Cam was fantastic. He picked us up from our hotel in Santa Monica in a beautiful convertible and took us on an incredible tour. One of the best things is getting the insiders view of LA. For example getting to the Hollywood sign for that classic photo using a route that the tourists don't know about. Great music, great chat and lots of laughs all the way round. I would definitely recommend Cam and this trip. Cam also got me my first ever root beer float. What a revelation!
We had the most amazing and fun day ever, our guide Cameron is an absolute legend! He was so knowledgeable and at the same time such a joy to spend the day with, the entire family had a blast. Such a good idea to do this, and I highly recommend anybody visiting to do the same. Cameron is a true American but we loved his attempt at an Australian accent. He was such a laugh and anybody I know that travels from our home in Australia to come and visit LA, I will be recommending they do this tour without any doubt. A firm 5 out of 5. ⭐️
Jordan arrived in a 1968 blue Cadillac and was an absolute delight. She allowed us to choose where we’d like to go, after some guidance from her. She was well informed and was able to answer any questions we had. She visited many ‘famous’ places including the Hollywood sign. Highly recommend!
Very friendly, nice and sympathetic guide! Showed us great places in LA! This tour should not be missed!!
