The city tour was very good, punctual Enterprise, clear information during the tour. The only point was that the guide did not expect the whole group to be complete to begin the activities. Except for that, it was great
This is an amazing tour! Highly recommend it. We had Americo as our guide and he was absolutely amazing. Not sure you are able to request him but he is worth trying to get! Very educational and informative! I cannot praise this tour enough.
Very nice place overlooking the temple of the sun, also grateful for the reception of the hosts. All super comfortable and very nice. Grateful with the stay!!
This was a very disorganized experience. They gave us a time and then the day of they changed the time. And then we couldn’t find everybody for the tours and then we started even later. And the tour is English and Spanish-speaking. But the guides English speaking skills was not super good so difficult to understand, and was more attentive to the Spanish-speaking people.
The tour guide, Americo, was amazing. At first we thought we would do a pretty basic tour, visiting the four ruins nearby Cuzco (Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Qenqo and Sacsayhuaman), while passing time and preparing for the main and most expected attraction, Macchu Picchu. But Americo is not that kind of guide, that throws dates and facts like wikipedia bot. He has the vision, the passion, the understandment of his own culture, and almost like a personal crusade, he obliterates years of wrong information that we may have (thanks to centuries of prejudice and colonization) and slowly builds, stone by stone, a complete fresh and beautiful painting of what was the Inka civilization, and how important and central was Cuzco at that time. At the end of the tour with Americo you may feel like many people that goes to the Louvre just to see the Mona Lisa (in this case, Macchu Picchu) and once there may discover even greater artworks and historical pieces, that most tourists, sadly, will never know. And yes, you may disagree with Americo, like 25%, but 75% of what he says makes a lot of sense (Fun fact, both Mona Lisa and Macchu Picchu are widely popular around the world just because they went "viral" globally in 1911 thanks to the rise of modern newspapers)
We had a fantastic experience on the Cusco walking tour. This tour is truly a “must do” when arriving in Cusco. It’s the perfect way to get oriented with the city before heading out to explore on your own. Our guide, Americo, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought a unique, spiritual, and holistic perspective to the tour. His enthusiasm and depth of insight made the experience especially meaningful. Unlike some of the more mainstream tours, Americo offers a refreshing point of view that adds richness to every site and story he shares. We opted for a private tour for our family group of six, which gave us great flexibility with timing. Since our flight arrived later in the afternoon, we appreciated being able to adjust the start time to better fit our schedule. If you’re arriving in Cusco later in the day, I highly recommend reaching out to see if accommodations can be made - it made a big difference for us. Although this was my third visit to Cusco and my third time taking this tour over the past decade, I chose to do it again so my family members (many of whom were visiting Peru for the first time) could benefit from the experience. Without a doubt, this tour offers exceptional value and stands out among the many options available in the area. The only other tour that compares in quality and depth was our Sacred Valley tour, which was equally memorable. Highly recommended!
Amearico is very knowledgeable and passionate. The quality of service is excellent. We enjoy our tour a lot and learns a lot outside of textbooks.
Very interesting and entertaining tour. Americo Mejia our guide taught us in detail the different archaeological sites we visited. He is seen to have a thorough knowledge of the Incas and to enjoy the subject. Thank you so much for learning and enjoying the tour.
The program was exciting and varied, and our guide, Alberto, was an attentive, competent and very friendly person. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and is passionate about his specialty: Inca history. We felt very comfortable and are very grateful.
The tour had good places, excellent explanation by the guide Americo. For a half day visit it was very complete.
