City tour Cusco Half day
Description
If it is your first time in Cusco and you want to explore the attractions near the historic center, the City tour in Cusco 4 ruins is an excellent option. Cusco is located at 3399 m.a.s.l., so it is ideal to adapt to the change in altitude. The climate is varied, with two main seasons: dry season (April-October) and rainy season (November-March). This half-day tour begins with a visit to the Temple of Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), where you can appreciate different enclosures, such as the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Stars, the Rainbow enclosure, the Hall of Sacrifices, and the enclosure of Lightning, Thunder and Lightning.

Itinerary
Start with pick up from the hotel near the historic center of Cusco. The first point of visit is the Temple of Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), where there is a guided tour of approximately one hour. Then, we continue to the archaeological center of Sacsayhuaman, an imposing example of Inca military architecture.
Afterwards, you will visit the archaeological center of Qenqo, a ritual center built on a unique limestone outcrop. Afterwards, you will arrive at the red fortress of PukaPukara, known for its reddish color and its military construction. Finally, you will visit the Tambomachay fortress, famous for its main waterfall, known as “The Baths of the Inca”.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, where the transportation service will drop participants off near the historic center, on Plateros street, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.
