Chocolate Making Class "From the Cocoa Bean to the Bar" at Chocomuseo in Cusco





Description
Participate in a chocolate preparation workshop in Chocomuseo. This two-hour workshop takes you through all the steps of chocolate manufacturing process from the cacao harvest, including the history of its manufacture in Peru. For the preparation, use black or milk chocolates. Also, you have the option of preparing cacao tea or hot chocolate.

So much fun! We learned so much- from the history of chocolate to the art of chocolate making. Our chef, Luis, was excellent- funny, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. We even took home our own chocolate creations! Highly recommended!

We had such a great time at this chocolate-making class! The experience was not only incredibly informative — we learned a lot about the history, techniques, and craftsmanship behind chocolate — but it was also so much fun. This Chocolate Making Class was joyful, fun, and educational . It was a highlight of our week in Cusco. The instructor, Hade, did an amazing job teaching us how to prepare chocolate while teaching us about its history. She made sure to include the diverse group of participants while having a wonderful sense of humor. We laughed, learned, ate, and socialized while making delicious chocolate! Lots of fun...learned a ton about chocolate making!!! Our instructor Gabriel was fantastic, good English and great humor. We were a party of 18 and he managed to keep all of us engaged and working hard to make our own chocolate! If you have time, a free afternoon or morning...recommend this one! Chocolate tasted more bitter than we are use to but it was pure...no artificial sweeteners or additives!
This surely is a delicious way to learn about Peruvian cocoa, and we are very happy that you had a chance to enjoy it!
