Our tour guide Beto was very informative and prepared us with knowledge before each stop. The experience was great!!!
The tour was fantastic! Carlos was engaging, funny and very knowledgeable. Both the shuttle (getting me to/from the resort and the tour bus) and the tour bus itself were both very comfortable with nice cold air conditioning, which was quite welcome given the absolutely BRUTAL heat and humidity outside. The trip to Chichen Itza from Cancun is 2.5 hours or more each way. At the start of the trip everyone got a bag with some light refreshments, which consisted of a small sandwich, granola bar and piece of fruit. Water and soda were provided at the start and any time we boarded the bus after a stop. They also included beer on the return trip for anyone interested. After we'd spent a couple hours at Chichen Itza, we stopped for lunch which was okay. The restaurant provided entertainment which was nice. The swim in the cenote was great! It was very beautiful and quite cold and refreshing, definitely needed after a hot day at Chichen Itza. We did stop for ~25-30 minutes in a town on the way back which I am not sure was really necessary unless the reason was for a restroom break or something. I had had enough of shopping and dealing with vendors at Chichen Itza to want to deal with it again in Valladolid. Tripadvisor claims the cost is ~$115, but I paid significantly more ($199 for me + $139 "deal" to add my wife.) I'm guessing the cost difference was from a shuttle that picked up and returned my wife and I from a resort 30 minutes south of Cancun. If you are able, I would suggest you compare the total rates between booking directly or via another transport company/agent! I would definitely recommend using Cancun Passion for your excursions in the Yucatan and if you do this specific tour, definitely ask for Carlos!
I really loved the places we visited and all of Carlos's explanations and recommendations. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it! The tour guide and the team was a 10/10, thank you Carlos G. 😘
Great guide Carlos G. and driver. Highly recommend this tour. We couldn’t go to Chichen Itza due to protests, but we were able to visit a nearby site at the last minute. Grateful the company was able to still take us out somewhere. We will be back to see Chichen Itza in the future.
Carlos is the best guide we have ever had. He gives his all and takes us into the secrets of the Mayans and their history. Cancún Passion has excellent service, and Ross, our driver, took us to our destination safely. Do not hesitate to ask for Carlos.
Amazing tour. Carlos Gutierrez and his colleagues are great and very knowledgeable. Carlos speaks also French!
We had a wonderful tour and experience all thanks to our guide Beto and our driver Ernesto. Beto was very informative, knowledge and entertaining. He facilitated this experience amazingly while Ernesto got us everywhere we need to go in a safe and timely manner. My favourite tour thus far ❤️
The tour lasts all day and is a great opportunity to make a visit to Chichén Itzá, a cenote and Valladolid. The stay time in each location is not very long, but you can have an overview of everything. Lunch is included and the food is very good. The bus is comfortable and we were picked up at the resort, which is very convenient. Raul and Carlos were very attentive and informative. I recommend!
Beto is a truly exceptional tour guide. He’s a great teacher, passionate, and entertaining.
