Itinerary

180 min

Your day begins in the morning as you board our comfortable transportation at check-in. While we welcome fellow travelers and complete the boarding process, it may take a few moments, giving everyone time to settle in before the adventure begins. Once the group is ready, we’ll head toward the legendary Chichén Itzá. Since the journey is approximately three hours, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the ride, and build excitement for what lies ahead. Get comfortable, take in the moment, and prepare for an incredible experience as you travel toward one of Mexico’s most iconic archaeological treasures.

180 min

As we get closer to Chichén Itzá, we’ll make a short stop at nearby points of interest before continuing to the archaeological zone. You’ll also enjoy a buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant located close to the cenote. Taste a selection of regional specialties and traditional Mexican dishes. Upon arrival, we’ll leave the bus and take a brief walk to the main entrance of this world-famous site. Our guides will stay with the group. Once inside, you’ll take part in a 1-hour guided visit led by our knowledgeable team. During the tour, you’ll discover the history behind this extraordinary ancient city, hear remarkable stories, clear up common misconceptions, and gain insight into daily life during the height of the Mayan civilization. After the guided portion, you’ll have 1 hour of free time to explore on your own. Use this time to take photos, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a cold drink or light snack. Before the free time begins, the guide will provide the meeting point and return time.

120 min

As part of this memorable journey, you’ll visit an authentic Mayan cenote, a remarkable natural wonder once considered sacred by the ancient Maya and deeply connected to their spiritual world. Known for their clear, cool waters, these cenotes remain one of the most refreshing and unique experiences in the Yucatán Peninsula. The drive to the cenote takes approximately 45 minutes. Bring your swimsuit and get ready for a refreshing swim. You’ll have around 1 hour to enjoy the cenote, relax in its crystal-clear waters, and take in the natural beauty of this special place.

60 min

To round out this cultural experience, we’ll visit the beautiful colonial town of Valladolid, Yucatán, a destination celebrated for its colorful streets, relaxed atmosphere, and rich local heritage. With its charming architecture and authentic character, Valladolid offers a wonderful look at everyday life in the region. During our stop of approximately 30 to 45 minutes, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Walk through its scenic streets, take memorable photos, and enjoy the unique charm and local ambiance that make this town so special.

180 min

At the end of your time in Valladolid, your guide will share the exact meeting time for boarding the bus. Once the group is together again, we’ll begin the return journey to Cancun and the Riviera Maya. The drive back takes approximately three hours, giving you time to rest, get comfortable, and look back on a day filled with history, culture, and unforgettable moments. Relax in our comfortable transportation and enjoy a peaceful ride after a full day of exploring. By the end of the tour, you’ll head back with lasting memories of visiting Chichén Itzá, swimming in a sacred cenote, and discovering the cultural charm of Yucatán.

An unforgettable day at Chichen Itza

We took this tour and it was an amazing experience. Great organization, a knowledgeable and engaging guide at Chichen Itza, a cenote stop that was perfect for relaxing, and a varied buffet that wrapped up the day nicely. We highly recommend it for how comfortable and well coordinated everything was.

Cheaper to buy with...

Cheaper to buy with locals as this company charges one fee then pay double the “tax” going in. Place is great to go, but would not recommend booking thru this company. Check with your hotel or locals/ people at hotel

Nice tour to see a lot in little time with few organizational flaws

It was a nice trip to see different sights in one day but that came with long bus rides and only little time at the sights. Organisation during the tour itself was pretty good and seemless, pickup worked out without problems. Unfortunately my friend and me got picked up first so we spend almost two hours going back and forth in the Hotel Zone to pick up the others before starting to Chichen Itza. Spontaneous booking did not work out in the first place, did not get a confirmation in time, eventhough it was available to book the night before on viator. Rescheduling via Whatsapp worked out fine in the end but was an extra effort.

Memorable world wonder!

Impressive archaeological remains, it is worth visiting them, as they are so crowded, it is best to stay in a nearby accommodation, so you can arrive earlier.

Disappointing Tour

Worst memories with Tour Operator being so rude and put us up at the last row of the bus next to the washroom when there were seats in the middle of the coach. The transportation from our hotel to the coach was delayed by 40 minutes and the driver did not come to pick us up at the correct hotel and the return was delayed. The tour guide was fluent in Spanish and spoke for 2 hours and spoke for exactly 3 minutes in English. We asked for bottled water and had to wait for 1/2 hour. I’m glad to be back and never take a trip through Viator to go through another bad experience. The coach left behind 3 people and tgr guide didn’t specify a time when everyone should meet in the bus. There was no vegetarian food offered in the bus when everyone else received a sandwich. When asked they said they don’t know when we had provided proper details that we were vegetarian at the time of booking. There were 8 of us and 6 were seniors. Overall it was a disappointing experience.
