Description

This chef-guided market tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, and much more. All groups are kept to 12 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour. *Note that tours stops may adjust depending on time of year and guide. This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain. This is a market tour that includes walking/standing and not a restaurant tour with a variety of food alternatives and sitting opportunities.

Go for it!

The food tour was lots of fun and our guide, Will, did a great job. We tried a variety of foods and experienced the hustle of bustle of Pikes Place Market. There were long lines at most of the places where we went and we were able to zip right in, learn about the vendor and the food where we visited, eat the food, and zip back out and move to our next destination and leave the long lines behind. We enjoy doing food tours when we travel and my only unmet wish for this tour would have been to learn a bit about Seattle and Pikes Place Market and that was not part of the tour. I still highly recommend this fun food tour.

Only way to see Pike Market

I’ve been to Pike Market before just to browse on previous trips & decided for a different experience this time as it was my husbands first time, in Seattle. I can’t to say it was exceptional & Sylas did a phenomenal job at giving us the history as well as giving us a taste of the culinary experience. EatSeattle is the company that drives these experiences & they have definitely done a great job at tapping in to a market consumers are looking for!
