This place was beautiful and the people were so nice and helpful. Philipe and his son, Leonel, were wonderful. Leonel also gave us a great snorkeling tour of the area. The water was perfect. It was so clear and refreshing. There were colorful plants and beautiful and colorful fish. We saw a stingray and puffer fish among others. There was a crocodile at the lagoon and lots of iguanas. The only disappointing piece was lunch was a small portion and didn’t taste great. The drinks also weren’t the best. Everything else was perfect.
Very nice scuba diving experience. Felt very safe and food was good
It was easy and plenty of instructions were given, after a short wait at the entrance we were escorted into the park and our day began. Got a great value.
We had the best time at Chankanaab! What a gorgeous place to unwind, relax, and soak up some sunshine! After our driver dropped us off at the entrance we were met by a wonderful fella named William and he took care of our every need throughout our visit to Chankanaab. Our beer was always cold and our tacos were delicious! We highly recommend visiting Chankanaab during your time on Cozumel.
We were met at the gate and escorted very politely to the excursion. We were hosted by a fabulous gentleman diver. They tucked away our goods in a private locker and dressed us out. We were politely led down the steps, me with my crutches and mom with her cane. Our guide led us into that chilly and choppy water. We would have been chicken alone. We trusted him, though, and before we knew it we were seeing Jesus and Mary!!; That stallion of Man pulled us around for an hour. He dove to show us manta rays on the bottom! We had our picture made with the fish!!!! We chose this tour for the personal guide. I chose well!!!!!
We were greeted and escorted thru Chak to our tour. Our guide dressed himself and us out. This precuous guide swam two old ladies all over for about an hour. He towed us on a life ring. He was 😎. We loved it so much
The ocean is amazing. The botanical gardens were lovely, the venue had more vendors than it did fish. It was quite chaotic and commercialized. Too much. You were hot and thirsty, and they made sure you had to buy from them. Not very gracious environment. The staff tried their best,
1. Homophobic comments from some employees. 2. Water is super clear. No for non swimmers. Very deep right by the shore. 3. Maya town is very nice.
Fun place. Lots of things to do. The snorkeling was a little rough due to the waves on a coolers day. Still plenty to see below. The lunch fajitas were good.
This was a great experience. This was my children's first time snorkeling. He was very patient with them. The lunch/tequila shots were a bonus.
