Marina and her dog Roger were fun, attentive and entertaining hosts! Her home is beautiful!! We made one type of pasta vs two-but it was PLENTY of food. We enjoyed the prosecco toast— “cin cin!” —-and the tiramisu for dessert.
Carlo was wonderful! I learned so many new techniques in this class. We had a great time talking about food and wine. Highly recommend!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our Cesarine cooking class in Florence. Our host, Carlo, welcomed us into his home and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The class was completely personal—just the two of us—which made it feel relaxed, authentic, and very special. Carlo’s teaching style was warm, engaging, and made the entire experience feel natural and fun. He guided us step by step while still letting us truly participate in preparing each dish. We prepared a full meal from scratch, including mozzarella in carrozza, ravioli all’Artusi, and tiramisu—all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was not just a cooking class, but a full cultural experience. We learned techniques, shared stories, and enjoyed the kind of hospitality that you simply can’t get in a restaurant. The limoncello at the end was fantastic and the perfect finish to the evening. The kitchen was beautiful, well-equipped, and felt like a true Italian home. Sitting down afterward to enjoy the meal we created together was a highlight of our trip. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Florence, we cannot recommend this enough. It was one of the most personal and enjoyable moments of our entire visit.
Chef Luca is an incredibly talented chef and insightful teacher. We dined on delicious delicacies and he had an ingenious approach to cooking and teaching. Chef Luca focused on all senses, taste, touch, smell, sight and yes, even sound and hearing as he described the sound you hear when you dip a spoon into perfectly made tiramisu. Love that. Engaging conversations, incredible food, and he made significant accommodations because I was lactose intolerant. the meal was perfection and I’ll do my best to repeat what I learned thank you Chef Luca!
This was, by far, the highlight of our trip through Italy. The experience started right when we drove up to their gate, where Paolo greeting us like we were family. He then took us through and showed us his garden while getting to know us (he speaks phenomenal English). Their property is stunning, with a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside that leaves one breathless. Christina brought us out the most amazing bruschetta, and the cooking experience began. Both Paolo and Christina are phenomenal chefs and amazing teachers. They explained every step perfectly, and lent a helping hand whenever it was needed. The result was an amazing dinner with a beautiful view, and new skills and recipes that we will take home and enjoy forever. Grazie Paolo and Christina, for being so much more than we ever imagined expected. It was wonderful night that my wife and I will never stop talking about. We highly recommend this experience to any couples looking for a fun date night while in Florence. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention Nacho, the four legged star of the show. We loved him!
Antonella was amazing. Her home is beautiful with a spectacular view. She was so welcoming, it felt like we were with family. She taught us how to make some very classic dishes. She gave us so much advice for our time in Florence. We had wonderful conversation with her about so many things. This really was our favorite experience in Florence.
The class with Cristina was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. She was gracious and charming and the setting was like a postcard. We enjoyed every aspect and modestly believe the meal we prepared was one of the best during our Italian visit.
Our evening with Antonella was fantastic! She was so kind and welcoming to our family of four that we instantly felt right at home. It is easy to see her passion and genius for fresh Italian cooking. We made the most delicious recipes which included ingredients picked from her lovely Tuscan garden. Our teenage boys loved making their own pasta from scratch. Dining al fresco on Antonella’s patio, we all wished that we could have stayed longer, chatting with Antonella and her husband Cosimo in their beautifully artistic home.
It was a magical experience. Our hosts, Christina and Paulo were lovely, warm, and welcoming ; and the view was perfect. We made pasta and the ate our work. The Grandkids, the big kids, and the grandparents all made a specially memory. I recommend this experience 100%
Christine and Paulo were the most charming hosts. The food we, and they, cooked was delicious. And, they made our experience together so easy and wonderful. Kids and adults alike loved every minute. It was the highlight of Florence. The setting “in a lemon grove” was breathtaking. It was a rare treat to visit and eat in a calm, serene setting overlooking Florence.
