Rebera visited accompanied by an English speaking guide. Among other things, history was explained with the flooding of the lower part of the ribera. The difference between the deepening was explained. It was said that the inferior quality are sold on top floor (cheaper). That less wealthy people can also get affordable food

Today was truely exceptional! Our personal tour guide who had lived most of her life in Bilbao was knowledgeable on all things Spanish. We learnt so much about life here, the food, culture and what makes it such a liveable city. Going over and above in everything, we were simply delighted with our day. We highly recommend this personalised tour.

nice building inside and outside, the small bars inside are very nice and very well trafficked? be careful it is not a market of the French style so do not expect a nice commercial market?
I was in the right place I asked several store owners and a cafe . I was there at 11:00 am tour was at 11:30 am. No tour guide showed up by 11:40 am so I flagged a taxi and left back to my cruise ship. To get to this tour I rode a bus the. Couldn’t find a taxi so I walked two miles. Im 64 with a broken foot bone so this added extra stress .
That's not true. At 11:30, we were waiting at the main entrance to the Arriaga Theater, which is in the same square and 10 meters across from the church, a taxi stand. I think you mistakenly went to Plaza Euskadi, according to the taxi company. After 15 minutes, we contacted you both via email on the platform and via the phone number you had provided. This is the first time in 10 years that something like this has happened to us.
Beatriz was so lovely and kind and shared all the “insider information” about Bilbao. Lovely afternoon to stroll the streets with a true local and learn more about this incredible city. We walked and talked for hours and enjoyed amazing food and drink!
Excellent walking tour with Beatriz. We visited the market, old town, as well as the buzzy area near the Gughenheim. Beatriz was interesting and well informed about her native city of Bilbao and took us to a variety of cool bars to taste the local pinchos and wine. Delicious!! We had a great time! Would highly recommend this tour and guide!

this was a very interesting and delicious way to learn more about this most beautiful region of the world .. we had a blast , great times , food samples and scrumptious sips !!! We enjoyed a wonderful family city break to Bilbao and experienced a real insight into the Basque cuisine by participating in a food walking tour. Our guide, Irene, was friendly, knowledgeable and introduced us to the way locals enjoy their pintxos. We visited five different pintxos bars and Irene gave us a detailed description of what was popular in each place and pair each dish with a complementary drink, such as crab with Txakoli and artichoke and mushroom with a Navarro. Each place had its distinct style and there is no way we would have found these places without local knowledge. Our thanks to Irene for allowing us to discover these places and the wonderful food and wine on offer. For all foodies this is a must.
