Inside, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites—crystal formations shaped over thousands of years by single drops of water, creating a truly otherworldly atmosphere. As you explore, your guide will share fascinating insights into the caves’ formation, history, and ecosystem. Above ground, wander through the rich tropical forest filled with captivating plant and animal life, including towering strangler balsam trees, delicate air plants, and even bats that inhabit the caves. George Town has three ship terminals: 1. Royal Watler Terminal 2. North Terminal 3. South Terminal Please be advised that cruise ships anchoring in Grand Cayman require guests to take a small boat, known as a tender, to reach shore. It is important to line up early for tenders, as it can take up to 60 minutes to disembark and reach shore. If your ship tenders to Royal Watler Terminal: Your tour departs from inside the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal. Upon disembarking, please exit through security and continue walking straight ahead along the waterfront. Please proceed to the last tent with a white canopy and look for the CAYTOURS sign. The local representative will be waiting there to check you in. If your ship tenders to the North Terminal or South Terminal: Your tour departs from inside the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal, which is an approximate 3 to 5-minute walk from the tender pier. Upon disembarking, please ask port security for directions to the Royal Watler Terminal. Once there, exit through security and continue walking straight ahead along the waterfront. Please proceed to the tent with a white canopy and look for the CAYTOURS sign. The local representative will be waiting there. In the event of bad weather, and your ship tenders to Spotts Dock: Your tour will depart directly from Spotts Dock. Upon disembarking, please remain at Spotts Dock and look for the local representative holding a CAYTOURS sign for easy identification. To ensure a smooth departure, please plan to arrive at the designated meeting location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time. Staying at a hotel or Airbnb? We pick up from all hotels and accommodations on Seven Mile Beach. Please make sure to inform us of your location in advance, so that we can make proper arrangements and ensure a timely pick up.

These caves are truly spectacular and well worth visiting. The formations are incredible, and the site is very well protected. Visitors are only allowed to look—touching anything is strictly prohibited, and there are security staff throughout the caves to ensure the rules are respected. Be aware that there are many bats hanging from the ceilings. During our visit, one bat actually left droppings on someone’s head, so wearing a hat or hoodie isn’t a bad idea. While the risk is very low, it’s worth considering whether you’re comfortable visiting a cave with bats, and if you have any concerns about rabies or other wildlife-related health risks,
Such a beautiful and fun experience! Crystal Caves is stunning, but our guide, Nathan, really stole the show. He was super friendly, absolutely hilarious, and knew everything there was to know about the caves. Dat Boy Bad... but Dis Girl Bad too! It’s rare to find a guide who can make a tour both packed with info and genuinely funny, but Nathan nailed it. 10/10 recommend!

We had an amazing time at Crystal Caves! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. This excursion would be great for all ages. A beautiful walk through the jungle to access three different and unique caves. Very hot, so bring water and bug spray. Highly recommend.

We read a lot about this attraction, but the reality lives up to the hype! Our tour guide, Ace (Anne), was TOP NOTCH in not only explaining the facts and history of the formations, but also with personal commentary reflecting the social and natural aspects surrounding the site.
