Great Experience, Short, on time, comfortable ride, saw one whale, return trip the same, Avalon definitely worth it.
Very good experience. The process was explained very well and it went as so. Looking forward to coming back.
It was my first time traveling n it was a beautiful experience , I got to see some dolphins on the way really nice
Check in to office before you attempt to board . Make sure the ticket on your phone is good to be scanned.
Careful when making reservations and canceling. You don’t get anything back or any vouchers for future use.
Don't buy tours with viator. I had a bad experience, we went to pick up the tickets and they said it was just one way. And when I paid the tickets, it said back and forth. What it was, bullshit.
The 2:55pm departure from San Pedro duration time is not "about an hour" as advertised. It stops in Two Harbors and you will not arrive in Avalon until nearly 5pm. We missed our 4:30 tour of Catalina Island. We will never book with Viator again for this lovely ferry, or any other excursion, unfortunately, due to this completely amateur and unprofessional error.
Well organized, easy to navigate and efficient experience. It was fun and the kids loved it. I would repeat.
The trip to Catalina Island was a real success both going and returning. The booking for this trip was very easy to booked through Catalina Express website.
How bad your service is. It was difficult to book couldn’t get a human to talk to got there and found out that Victor sold a ticket one way and the last boat back left immediately they failed to tell us that when we ordered the two tickets. Basically spent five hours on a ferry Would not recommend.
