It was a great day on the lake with our guides Dario and Valerio! They were very nice and made sure to check in with us every once in a while as we paddled. They were both very informative about the history of the lake and Valerio was always open to answering any follow-up questions we had (in English!). Would highly recommend this trip for anybody looking for an outdoor activity with friends.
This was a fantastic experience. My kids loved every minute of paddling the lake. The guide was awesome and explained some safety tips. We then paddled the clear water to a spot with a rope swing and took a break. We paddled back at our pace and had a wonderful time. I would absolutely do this again and couldn’t be happier as it exceeded our expectations.
A beautiful activity for outdoor sports lovers and nature enthusiasts. Lake Albano is wonderful, just as the hospitality of the guides and the kayak tour were. Excellent value for money.
Needed a break from the busy Rome and to escape the summer heat, took the metro out to Anagnina and was picked up by the crew without hassle. Beautiful lake to kayak (1/1.15 hour paddle to and from the swimming spot. Our tour guide was a local who knew all about the area. Reasonably priced especially the return pickup and drop off back to the metro station. Was a great half day experience and was back in Rome for sunset aperitif and dinner.
A really great morning out. We booked the kayaking experience at Lake Albano as a family of three and it was a brilliant choice. The setting is stunning and felt like a world away from the city. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable but with a relaxed, unhurried style that made the whole thing feel enjoyable rather than regimented. Easy meeting point, good value for money, and one of the highlights of our trip. Would recommend without hesitation.
Wonderful experience. The guide Flavio, very young and extremely friendly, came to pick us up directly from the Anagnina metro station and then took us to Lake Castelgandolfo where he provided us with equipment and guided us on a beautiful kayaking excursion. We reached the other side of the lake where he let us swim and do ropeswing (for diving) and we ate a delicious Roman pizza. Then we returned by kayak and were taken back to the Anagnina metro station, always with a smile. Flavio truly deserves 5 stars; it felt like traveling with a friend.
We had a great day out on the lake. The water was crystal clear and a great temperature for June. We did some swimming and enjoyed some pizza from the guide midway through the tour. Nice upper body workout and great information about the volcanic lake. I would recommend this to anybody who would like a day out of the city.
Fun experience; the guide Lorenzo was very nice and super knowledgeable. Nice experience!
We ended up kayaking on a very windy day, making it quite hard to paddle. But our guides were so helpful and patient. The area is beautiful. I would highly recommend this excursion!!
Francesco, our very kind guide, accompanied us on this fascinating tour of the lake, telling us the history and some anecdotes; it was a relaxing experience accompanied by a delicious slice of pizza, a bottle of water per person, and a lot of friendliness and availability. They also provide a waterproof bag for the more delicate items, and in the end, a nice refreshing swim completes the experience... definitely a must-do!
