We had a wonderful morning ride through the vineyard followed by a tasting of 9 wines and an amazing cheese board. The owner and her staff were warm and engaging. We learned a lot about the local area and wine making practices. However, we also learned that booking through Trip Advisor cost us 3x that of booking directly with the winery, Cantina de Filippo. The 3rd party operator, SORPRENDIMI UMBRIA, kept the name of the winery secret until the day prior to the excursion. The winery has the experience listed on other sites or you can call them and book directly. Visit the winery and support a local family who pioneered organic wine making in the region!
