Ride past rice fields and traditional homes, and stop by a towering historic tree that has witnessed decades of history. A short local crossing takes us to a cacao garden where cacao has been cultivated since the 1960s. Learn about traditional chocolate-making techniques and sample fresh cacao products. We finish the ride along a scenic riverside route, passing through a seedling village and catching the golden glow of sunset — a perfect ending to your rural Mekong adventure.

Itinerary
We start at the fruit garden where travelers can spend up to 40 minutes exploring and savoring the Delta’s unique fruits. From here, travelers will cycle about 30 minutes to the Gian Gua Historical Relic.
The Gian Gua Historical Relic showcases a massive ancient banyan tree with intertwined trunks and branches, a striking symbol of resilience. Scars from past conflicts, including bomb fragments and bullet marks, bear witness to the region’s rich history, making it a powerful and awe-inspiring sight. Optional: Stop here for 15 minutes before we proceed to the cacao garden, approximately 40 minutes away.
Spend 40 minutes exploring the cacao garden at Muoi Cuong Cacao Farm, a family-run gem in the Mekong Delta. Established in the 1960s, the farm produces high-quality cacao using traditional methods. Tour the lush grounds, learn about sustainable practices, and enjoy treats like hot or iced chocolate. A must-visit for nature and chocolate lovers! From the cacao garden, travelers will cycle back to the fruit garden, a 30–40 minute ride with opportunities for photo stops.

Was a very nice tour! Nga told us a lot about the fruits, villagages and cacoa!
For two we booked this tour and were thrilled. Nga was a top guide. The bike tour was fun. We saw how the rural families lived, met schoolchildren on the way home and visited a cocoa farm. Nga explained and told a lot and we learned a lot. She is very helpful and has responded to our questions. We can only warmly recommend Nga.
Our guide was very enthusiastic to draw our attention to several plants, fruits, various structures by explaining to us each. Warm and dynamic attitude. A visit that we really enjoyed!
What a fabulous tour with Nhung today, she is a very inspirational young lady, it was lovely hearing her passion and knowledge as we went round. Tried some local fruit which was nice to actually taste the fruits you pass every day at the stalls. Cycle ride was on the flat so suitable for everyone, visit to the cocau farm was very interesting, I didn’t realise how much effort goes into to chocolate making. It was a very nice experience to get to know the local conditions up close. The bike route was also very varied. In addition, Nhung was a great, informed and fun tour guide. She also responded to our preferences and adapted the tour to the weather. We had a great afternoon. We would recommend the tour to anyone!
Great adventure with Nhung - really nice time spent on a bike trip in nice atmosphere and beautiful countryside. Recommended for people who likę to move. Road is good and avaiable for all people (not tough)
We had a great afternoon. Nhung is a friendly and enthousiastic a knows a lot about life in the Mekong delta. We could take pictures whenever we wanted and she answered all of our questions.

Nice experience. We spent a great afternoon with Jason, our Tour Guide. Nice and friendly guy. Ask form him if you want somebody with a good command of English. Tour included fruit garden, golden tree and cacao farm.

My guide, Nhug, was very cheerful and kind, and I really enjoyed walking around the orchards and cycling along the country roads with her. On the way to the cocoa plantation, the experience of crossing the river by ferry with the bike was amazing.
