Itinerary
Do not miss the chance to stroll around Rome with us during our Food and Wine tours with expert local guides!
The meeting point for the Trevi Tour is the statue of Giordano Bruno, in the middle of this colorful square. Your guide will tell you about the controversial story of this man, still an important symbol for the Roman community. Afterwards, you will have a nice experience around the market, where you will taste a lot of fresh Italian products: truffle, pesto, olives pate', balsamic vinegar and so on. Taking one of the tiny streets that lead out from Campo de' Fiori, you will walk towards a very good wine shop, for a taste of local wine and high quality cheese and cured meats. This first part of your tour will give you the possibility to have a rich lunch with wine among the ruins of one of the most ancient theaters of the city!!
The walk proceeds and your guide will conduct you to this charming square: you will be given historical information about its origins, its transformations and the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the masterpiece required to Bernini by the Pope to decorate it. Here you will also try the best Tiramisù in town and discover why this dessert is the Italian most popular dessert worldwide.
Before heading to the Pantheon, close by you will reach one of the best gelato places of this district, and complete the "food part" of your tour with the most amazing coffee you have ever tasted! What about the best preserved temple in Rome? The spectacle you see has been standing right there for almost 2000 years. Your tour leader will show you this building - today called Chiesa di Santa Maria ad Martyres - and explain its peculiarities. Besides being a church, it is also a mausoleum, as it hosts the tombs of some important personalities related to the Italian history.
Crossing the main street of Rome, Via del Corso, you will reach the Trevi Fountain, the last stop of the tour. It took 30 years to complete this enormous marble sculpture, a celebration of the power of water, wanted by the Pope. Completed in the 1725, it is with no doubt one of the best known fountains in the whole world. With the dream of coming back to Rome soon, thousands of tourists throw their coins into this basin! Would you try and see what happens?

We had the most wonderful experience on this food tour with Barbara! She was an exceptional guide and both the food and tour of the area were great. We originally had a day trip but because it was so hot, they kindly let us switch to the evening tour. The communication to make this change was easy, kind and prompt. Our kids enjoyed the tour as well and it was the right amount of walking and eating. Not strenuous or rushed at all. 100% recommend!! One of the best things we did on this trip.
This was over the top incredible! Our tour guide Andrea went above and beyond! He was so kind and knowledgeable, he even showed us a few hidden gems that we would have never seen on our own. We could not have asked for a better tour! Plus we moved at just the right pace, would recommend 1000/10.
Would thoroughly recommend every aspect was so good. Best way to l learn about local food and where to buy from. Our guide Fabrizia was informative, interesting , kind and helpful and fun too.

Fabulous food tour that starts out with a bang with charcuterie and a market visit. Highly recommended!! Our guide Marco was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We’re so grateful for your kind review! It was truly a pleasure guiding you through our favorite food spots.

Thank you for the lovely words! Your opnion means a lot to us! All the best wishes!
Definitely recommended!!! Our group only had 6 people, including our guide, Andrea. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It felt more like friends on a walk rather than a guided tour. We were incredibly full by the time we said goodbye!
Andrea was great! He even took us on an extra stop because we had extra time. Very knowledgeable and very worth the money for the amount of food you got. Highly recommend!
Meeting and talking with the Mother and Son. The food was fantastic to. I learned about the life of the mother (the chef) divorce, but very happy and her son, who's going to the university to be a psychiatrist. However, his passion is acting and he just received his first acting job, which was a speaking job and also a paying job. He gave me a present, an italian coin pre Euro. I told him this was very special. And we'll go next to my coin. That I received from a japanese woman while in Japan of the Sapporo olympics. This is a special gift that I will treasure forever.
Matteo was wonderful! He paid attention to everyone's needs (bathroom) and willing to spend extra time. Clear English speaking.
The guide and the food were excellent. One of the best tours that I have been on for a long time. Would recommend tour to any one that loves to try local food as well as have a bit of history thrown in.
