Discover the Cahuita National park and take a nature walk with our naturalist tour guide. The park is rich in wildlife and Monkeys, sloths, iguanas, colorful birds and other animals are easy to see. After this nature tour, a visit to a Banana plantation is included where you will learn about this important crop. NOTE: This visit is in a plantation located along the main road and the stop is close-by the company’s facilities. Does not include a visit to the packing house or any other private facilities where workers develop their duties as they are restricted areas.

Cahuita National Park is a terrestrial and marine national park in the Caribbean La Amistad Conservation Area of Costa Rica located on the southern Caribbean coast in Limón Province, connected to the town of Cahuita. Cahuita National Park is unique in Costa Rica for its close relationship with the community, an example of shared management between the community and government for a sustainable development at community level. Participation of park guards and community life stands out through a shared governance management. Know the best preserved coral reef in the Costa Rican Caribbean area and enjoy the scenery, culture and cuisine offered in the area. White sand beaches, turquoise a sea and a diverse marine life are some of the attractions that await for you in Cahuita National Park in the province of Limon.
Puerto Limón, commonly known as Limón, is the capital city and main hub of Limón province, as well as of the cantón of Limón in Costa Rica. It is the seventh largest city in Costa Rica, with a population of over 55,000, and is home of the Afro-Costa Rican community. The caribbean province is a natural paradise, formed by a combination of dense jungles, imposing mountains, and paradisiac beaches. Limon has the highest percentage of protected land in Costa Rica, as well as a wide variety of flora and fauna. Its vegetation is exuberant as are the cultures throughout the province. Pickup Locations & Times
This tour is exclusive for cruise ship passengers. If you are not arriving by cruise ship please do not book this tour. Tour operate only when we have cruise ships in port. Pick up is at the main gate entrance of the pier. It is a very short walking distance from the cruise ship. Once at the entrance of the pier, you will see a Greenway Tours Guide holding a sign with your name. SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PICKUP TIME All our pickup times are set to 8:00 AM by default. HOWEVER: If your ship arrives after 8:00 AM, the Pickup will be 30 minutes after ship arrival. You can book your tour and we will adjust the time accordingly with your ship arrival. If you ship is late, our staff will wait for you till the ship dock and allow you disembark. We operate all our tours accordingly with the ship´s arrival.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Arielle did an outstanding job of sharing the rich history and interesting facts about Costa Rica. Very knowledgeable and personable. Our driver, Fernando was an expert in maneuvering us through traffic and pointing out wildlife we may have otherwise driven past.

Ariel was our tour guide and was exceptional. He was personable, answered all our questions and was very easy to understand. Fernando was a great driver and stopped to get us all some delicious bananas and even tried to find a sloth 🦥 for us. I would definitely recommend them for this tour. But I left behind a small brown paper bag with a tiny nativity set that I bought before going on the river eco tour - Jason was the driver. I think that is where I lost it.☹️☹️

Great tour and the tour guides, Natalie, Josue & Geine were great! We saw many animals and learned a lot about the country. If I were to change 1 thing, it would have been to allow more time at the end to do some shopping by the port. But it was a great day

We had a really good experience on this excursion. Natalie, our tour guide, did an amazing job of educating us on the banana industry and showing us as much wildlife as we could find. We saw sloths (2&3 toed) in their natural habitat, a few yellow vipers, some holler monkeys, a cayman and several types of birds.

Enjoyed the tour despite rain in park (rainforest). We wish the tour guide used a portable microphone for all to hear not just those next to him. He did provide very useful information about the plants.

What an amazing day! Natalie, our guide, and Jaynor, our driver, were friendly and knowledgeable. They provided information on the history and culture of Costa Rica, as well as the floral and fauna. And what great eyes, sporting sloths in the trees as we walked or drove and making sure everyone could see and get pictures! I highly recommend this tour group!!
