we'll see the little Habana, Campo del Sur , a cultural mosaic where we can distinguish the contrasting footprints of the diverse civilisations that have passed through the city.
quick stop before venturing into the picturesque neighbourhood of el Pólpulo, the oldest in the city, finding our way through the medieval streets
get into the Roman theatre which lies underground, beneath the neighbourhood.
Next we have the Old Cathedral, formerly a mosque and now known as Santa Cruz church
we’ll head towards the Cathedral square where we can appreciate the contrasting architectural styles that make it so unique.
ituated between palatial homes and the post office building which leads into one of the most beloved stops
the Central Market, where we will immerse ourselves into its heart contemplating the great variety and freshness of the produce it has to offer, being able appreciate the scale (no pun intended!) of the fishing tradition in the city and the generous diversity of local seafood.
Just a few more meters and we enter La Viña, a friendly fishermen neighbourhood with plenty of character, famous for its many tapas restaurants and its carnival
la Caleta: a small but charming beach guarded by its two castles and under the convenient shade of the Balneario de la Palma. Here we can visit Castillo de San Sebatián, one of the two castles whith one of the best panoramics of the city, the only point where we can observe Cádiz from the sea without getting wet!
And to finish, there's no better way than to cycle by the sea through the bike path, passing through our charming parks like Parque Genovés and Alameda Apodaca, before we get back to the starting point.

We circumnavigated the Old Town, stopping at viewpoints and points of interest. It was an easy ride with lots of interesting information given, and our guide Adrien was very passionate in his descriptions and stories. Even though it was extremely windy the day of our tour, we had fun and would recommend the tour and Adrian.
My family and I took a bike tour with Anna. The weather was not ideal but she persevered and gave us a great tour. The bikes were really comfortable and easy to use. My son's bike did have a problem being stuck in one gear, but Anna happily changed bikes with him and took on the extra work herself. Cadiz was amazing, and Anna was full of knowledge on the long history, giving us heaps of information but keeping it light and easy to understand. She answered all of our questions, and took some great family photos for us too. She pointed out places of interest we could visit on our own to get an even further understanding of the area. Now knowing the incredibly long long history of Cadiz, I am even more impressed with how well Anna condensed it into just 2.5hrs. After our tour we were able to visit sites and dining venues recommended by Anna, which were all amazing. We were only disappointed when we found the churro place was not open when we were there. We had booked the tour online in advance. After a last minute change in our cruise schedule, we made contact to ask for a change in bike tour day. We received a very prompt reply and they changed our date with no problem.
Great way to see Cádiz and learn the history. Our guide Anna was friendly and informative while keeping our group of 15 together. The ride is basically flat and mostly on dedicated bike lanes with a lot of stops for sightseeing and communication.
Hubby & I came off of an NCL cruise in Cádiz for the day. It was an easy walk (15 minutes) from the ship to the bike shop. Their bikes were good - easy cruisers. Our guide led us easily on almost all bike trails, a few cobbles. We rode along the sea mostly, although we did go down a few side streets. We stopped often so our guide could tell us about our surroundings. Our guide gave us history, as well as architectural details & modern information. Overall it was fun! Loved biking along the sea! I highly recommend this tour!
Fine trip with guide Ana. Much heard iver history and present.
Excellent bike tour round Cadiz with our guide Natalia. Started at 10am on a Sunday morning so we had lovely quiet streets to begin with, before it busied up. Natalia had a wealth of knowledge, lots of interesting history. Easy paced bike ride, with plenty of stops and photo opportunities.
Wonderful tour with guide who shared historical & architectural context. Shop was very friendly and accommodating of our needs. Bikes were in good shape and comfortable. Highly recommend Cadizfornia!
Fantastic to meet Cadiz and his history with Alicia! We learned and got to know a lot in a very entertaining and fun way. They kindly resolved some drawbacks we had in the reservation
A great, beautiful bike tour experienced with Nathalia of Cadizfornia. We booked through Baja bikes. Nathalia speaks perfect English, gave us a lot of background information about the history of the city. We were 2 couples. I highly recommend this tour! You get a good impression of Cadiz🤩
