Itinerary
Arrive at meeting point on your own transportation, show your reservation to the staff wearing a Green vest (Busda logo). The staff will guide you to get on the bus before the bus will depart for Badaling Great Wall (Driving time:1.5 hours). During the journey, the bus guide will introduce you how to travel the Badaling Great Wall and help you complete reservations for various tickets to the Great Wall. (the Great Wall Cable Car is an optional item, which can be purchased based on your request) Upon arrival at Badaling Great Wall, You can choose the North-line tour, South-line tour Enjoy 2 hours of sightseeing time ,later,the bus tour guide will guide you to the parking lot and take the bus from badaling Wall to ancient greatwall
Historically referred to as the "Ruined Great Wall" (残长城), it represents the southwestern extension of the Badaling Great Wall Unlike the restored main section, this ancient segment retains its original form with visible traces of weathering and structural imperfections, as it has never undergone large-scale renovation Enjoy 2.5 hours of sightseeing time ,later,the bus tour guide will guide you to the parking lot and take the bus from ancient greatWall back to Beijing city.

It was only a big bus to transport you to and from the destination. No real guide or tour . Could have done this by myself

The reserve was for visiting "two different types of walls". When I arrived at the meeting place, I was told that the two walls were NOT available, that only one wall would be visited, and that there was NO refund. Finally, I made a single wall, and without any guide, that is, I did it alone, as the guide left with the group that performed other additional activities to pay an additional cost. The guide is called Evelyn. She tried to do her best (you can tell if she knows her job), but having 40 people alone... I think that makes the experience not suitable for a foreign visitor.

We understand how frustrating it must have been not being able to visit both sections of the Great Wall and the lack of a guide during the tour. Efficient and informative, will get you to the great wall and has many options of ways to climb the mountain that you can buy on the coach even if you've only prepaid to walk. Would recommend, Ding was a lovely tour guide and kept everyone updated and had a constant line of communication if needed.
