It is the only memorial cemetery in the world dedicated to UN soldiers. While the cemetery originally held up to 11,000 graves, most of the fallen soldiers were repatriated at the request of their families, with only 2,300 graves remaining. The serene park spreads across a grassy plain area of 135,000 square meters. South Korea in a day!

We had a one day stop on our cruise in Busan and this tour was the perfect way to fit as much of the city in as possible in the time we had. Our guide was excellent! She had interesting information all day long and really worked to keep us on track and take in as much as possible. She was truly a Joy! The lunch was beyond amazing! I can’t say enough good things about the itinerary, guide, driver and the city itself. It made our whole group want to come back to Busan one day!

Best day in Busan!

Our guide was Sandalos (Mokdong) and we were 3 adults on this tour. He was a great driver and guide. He was able to recommend non-tourist locations for lunch and dinner that really made us feel like locals even just for a small time. He was great at giving us information about each new site we visited and the history of South Korea. We were able to complete everything on our must-do wish list and more! We had such an awesome day with our guide.

Great tour - VERY expensive lunch!

This is a really good tour if you’ve got one day in Busan. The guide and driver were very efficient. Our only ‘complaint’ is that we were taken to a very expensive Korean BBQ restaurant without any choice. We only discovered how expensive it was ($80 AUD for two of us) on arrival. Why the tour operator doesn’t offer a food hall or a choice of something simpler, I don’t know. It would have been good for an explanation of what the rather complex meal was. Please don’t mis-understand my concerns here. The food at this restaurant was very good - we just didn’t get a choice! That said - still a great tour! Thanks Joey (our guide)

Operator response

Dear Haydn Thank you for your review, The lunchtime Korean BBQ restaurant is not expensive local price. Maybe the guide mistake does not explain the lunch menu. I will tell guide Joy for the next guest about this mistaken Thank you and you have a nice trip thank you and best regards frank, yi
