Haedong Yonggung is a temple with beautiful scenery. If anyone visits Haedong Yonggung Temple, I would like to tip it off like this. Have one wish you have chosen carefully and head to the temple diligently before dawn. The scenery where the sun rises against the backdrop of pavilions, Buddha statues, and pagodas is special and the afterglow is heavy. Haedong Yonggung Temple is a sacred place of Gwaneum, where Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is enshrined as the main Buddha, and it is said that one wish will come true if you make a sincere wish here.
Cheongsapo is a fishing village in the city center. It is considered a representative tourist attraction in Busan. Because you can enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery, sunrise, and sunset.It was 72.5 meters long and 3 meters wide in August 2024. The top was 20 meters high from the sea level and stretched out to the sea. However, the top plate has been expanded to a U-shape with 191 meters long and 3 meters wide. The observatory has installed a transparent floor at the end of the observatory. So, you can feel like walking on the sea.
Haeundae Beach boasts a wide white sand beach and a beautiful coastline. It is 1.5km length, 30-50m a width. an average depth of it is 1m. Haeundae Beach is the first place that comes to mind when you think of "Busan."
Gamcheon means "water is sweet and good." It also means "good for people to live." In fact, Gamcheon Culture Village was a home for refugees who came to Busan in the 1950s. During the Korean War, They left their home and they had no place to go. So, They came to Gamcheon culture village.
Street foods in Biff square can fill your stomach even with light pockets and They are still loved by market merchants and create a unique street culture. Biff square is the place where many theaters were located. It’s the birthplace of the film industry. There is also a commemorative square commemorating the Busan International Film Festival.
Gukje market is a big out door market. Around Korean war (1950) American force used to sell their belongings at Gukje market. But, these days, It became big out door cheap market.
It's very fresh fish market in Busan. You can see marine animal arrive.

My husband and I had a wonderful shore excursion thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Irene. She was very helpful, caring, and attentive, making the whole day smooth and enjoyable. We felt so well looked after that I’ve already planned to book with her again when we return in October. Irene is outstanding — we highly recommend her!
This was an excellent excursion and a great way to see Busan. Irene picked us up right at the cruise dock, it was a very easy process. She adjusted our itinerary based on our likes. We actually only had one other couple with us on our excursion. We went through the fish market, which is amazing. For lunch, she found the perfect place for us. A place that would have chicken while the other couple went and had a wonderful seafood meal. They were very good with time management and making sure we made it back to the cruise on time and ready for our departure. Irene made sure that we had a wonderful experience.
We had a very nice day and saw the wonderful highlights of Busan. Irene answered all our questions and was very attentive to our wishes. Pickup, transport, and delivery were punctual and comfortable. We really enjoyed the tour.

Our tour guide Irene contacted us ahead of time to move the time of our tour up so we would miss the crowds. That was the beginning of her helping us have a great experience in Busan. Our group was only 11 people, perfect for navigating quick on and off the bus. Irene took pictures for us and even printed some as mementos. She helped Us find a great fried chicken place! The highlight was wandering around the sand sculpture exhibition on the beach.

We had an exceptional day with Kay exploring Busan, South Korea. She took us we wanted to go (Sky Capsule ride) and the Sky Walk. She took us to a typical Korean restaurant for lunch. Lastly, she took us to shopping district where local residents and tourists shop. She was patient with us as we are slow walkers. We highly recommend her as a personal tour guide. I booked the private tour for 13 of us. The van is set for 15 so we were all good and comfy. Irene first confirmed with me via WhatsApp to plan for our private tour for 1 day in Busan. We got off Diamond Princess and she met us with my name sign. We start off going to the glass walk by the ocean then we took the sky capsule to the Haeundae Sand Festival to see all the sand sculpture. It was very crowded due to the weekend but the weather was very nice by the beach. Then we headed to the temple. We enjoyed our BBQ lunch at the most famous Korean Beef restaurant and had a great time. We stopped by the cultural village briefly and Irene send us back to the ship at 3. All in all, Irene paced our senior group tour very well and explained to us clearly and patiently. I will recommend her and will have her again next time in Busan.
We enjoyed all the places we visited. Our tour guide Irene was very pleasant to talk to, very knowledgeable about Busan, South Korea, very accommodating by giving us choices what to eat and what we want to see. My husband and I have mobility problem so we have to stay in the van while everyone walked to the Temple. Our driver let us stay in the van and entertained us by showing a video of the Temple, also, very knowledgeable as he was able to answer all our questions. Very safe driver. We were 10 in our group and we surely had fun. Thank you Irene and to our driver, sorry I can pronounce his name.
