Expensive but worth it

László Széplaki Was our driver, he was on time, commuted well before our trip about pyr meeting place, very courteous and knowledgeable. He drove us to places that we have not been to and let us take pictures. Kids loved the experience and they are still talking about it. We highly recommend this experience, expensive but it was worth it. If you think about it, you will spend just as much renting car/ paying for uber to see the whole city. This was 3 hrs of tour, and we were not exhausted from walking. Worth it.

Fantastic experience, a must if you want to explore all of Budapest in 3 hours!

Great experience with friendly driver/guide. In addition to what the driver tells, information about the sights is played over a speaker. Various special stops along the way. Totally awesome! Recommended!

MUST DO, but don't forget to have your picture taken in the Jeep!

This is such a fantastic way to see the city. I scheduled it for our first day there because I knew that we would be jet lagged. It was the perfect way to get the lay of the land while respecting everyone's energy levels. We did run into a snafu on our trip because of a charity race and Laszlo with Retro Tour did a FANTASTIC job of compensating for it. Definitely do this! My only regret is forgetting to have our picture taken in the Jeep!

Operator response

Dear Caroline, Thank you very much for your nice review! And I am glad that I was able to correct our mistake! It is rare to find a passenger who intelligently conveys his/her comments and sends constructive confirmation! Thank you very much again! I wish you and your mother many more experiences! We look forward to seeing you again in Budapest! Best regards, Laszlo from Retro Tour Budapest

Fun highlight tour in a jeep

It was a fun experience driving through town in the jeep. It was a great highlight of all the sites. There was a recorded overview of each site as we passed it which was nice. The driver was friendly and provided refreshments during our ride. It would have been a rating of 1 more star had they driver added his own insight during the ride but nevertheless it was an interesting and fun tour.

Operator response

Dear Lori, Thank you for your review! You are right! We need to talk to our guests more! We will adjust this for future tours! Best regards, Laszlo from Retro Tour Budapest
