Worth the slightly long drive to Budapest. The guided party was nice, our guide was very knowledgeable but it would’ve been nice to have more free time there - could’ve cut time from Slovakia. Overall worth it if you don’t want to deal with the train on your own.
Our driver/guide Roman was so pleasant. He was great with our kids and really helpful. The local guide, Greg, was also excellent. We had plenty of time to roam around ourselves plus we saw and heard all about the most important sites.
