Perfect intro to the city!

Marlena was absolutely fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and took us to all of the best spots. One aspect of the tour really stood out to us. When we were at Heldenplatz, Marlena went into great detail about the events that took place there during the beginning of WWII, and we very much appreciated her accountability when it came to describing Austria’s role in the war. Other tour guides (from a different company) we used in Vienna completely ignored the top of WWII altogether (which was quite shocking to us, considering we also went to Heldenplatz…no mention of what happened there) and even the museums seem to lack any sort of regret or accountability for the actions of the war, instead, exhibiting a victim mentality. Marlena was incredibly clear that Austria was no victim, that the horrific views of Hitler were already pretty much the status quo before he took over, and that many Austrians were actually in favor of Hitler’s rule. Marlena’s dedication to telling history accurately, even when it’s uncomfortable, was noble. If you want top notch knowledge told in an engaging way, you’ll love Marlena! Great work.

Very knowledgeable and entertaining guide (Michael). Clearly affordable! Recommended if you want to get a better handle on a new city, but do not want to spend a whole day on it.

An entertaining and interesting trip through the heart of Vienna

A very entertaining and very interesting tour through the heart of Vienna. The tour guide "Marlene" was very friendly and very concerned about the well-being of the group. She answered questions very well and also lightened up the history with nice anecdotes. Her recommendations regarding museums and also restaurants were very good.

Excellent introduction to Vienna

Vienna is a beautiful city, and having a knowledgeable guide to help you discover its beauty makes all the difference. That’s exactly what we experienced on this tour. Our guide showed us the city’s main landmarks while providing fascinating historical and cultural insights. The tour was both informative and enjoyable, and it gave us plenty of ideas for places to explore on our own afterward. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vienna for the first time.

Charming, engaging and thoughtful guide

We had a wonderful tour of Vienna's historic centre with Nora. She was knowledgeable, funny, charming and very engaging. Her English was impeccable. She was also extremely thoughtful - ensuring we avoided the very strong sunshine wherever possible and kept topped-up with water. At the end of the tour she directed us to an excellent restaurant. A great experience. Thoroughly recommended!
