Excellent overview tour of major highlights in pedestrian-oriented Central Brussels - very knowledgeable and humorous guide conducts these tours for tips as his sole source of income, which is why the base price is so low. There were about a dozen or so of us, which made it quite interactive. Highly recommend and tip generously to support the pricing model.
Fraser was the guide for the 11:00 tour. He was friendly, informed and enthusiastic. His enthusiasm was contagious. He was also competent in responding to personal questions regarding my stay in Brussels. Jim
Fraser was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We learned a-lot and the time flew by! Also he took care if us on a hot day and gave us time to explore and also brought us together as a small group.
Great way to spend our first day! Fantastic - rich in history, interesting tidbits, and a great guide!
Great walking tour with Fraser. Friendly and knowledgeable about the city.
Fraser was an excellent guide of Brussels. I had done a number of Sandemans tours before and I think he is a great example of the quality of the Sandemans guides. He was very knowledgeable and accessible, making the 2.5 hr tour fly by.
The guide did not show up even though we waited 45 minutes. No obvious way to get a refund.
Dear, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you missed the tour. I checked what happened, and I can confirm that the tour took place as scheduled with 10 other participants. Unfortunately, you were the only guest who did not join. I also provide the guide's phone number in the booking confirmation so guests can get in touch if they are running late or have trouble finding the meeting point. My guide did not receive any call or message from you that day. For this reason, I don't believe your review reflects what actually happened, as the tour was delivered as booked. That said, I want everyone to have a good experience, so I have already processed a full refund for your booking as a gesture of goodwill. I have been providing walking tours for more than 20 years, and I take pride in offering reliable tours with excellent local guides. I hope you'll give me another chance in the future. Best regards, Ewelina
We had the most amazing and delightful tour with Fraser! He was so knowledgeable, chatty, engaging and humorous! We’ve done lots of these tours before, this one definitely stands out!
Had a delightful experience on the free walking tour with Fraser, we immediately felt at ease and after the tour we spent the rest of the day discussing various things we’d learned. Fraser is a fountain of knowledge but also the most friendly person so you feel very comfortable to ask questions. 10/10 would recommend :)
Fraser was the best guide I've had for a city walking tour in a while! He was so informative and funny. Throughout the tour he interacted with the grouo and had us answering questions, playing games, and encouraged any questions we had. If you get a chance to do the free walking tour of Belgium, do it, and hope that you get Fraser for what might be the best tour you'll ever have!
