Itinerary
At the first venue, you can expect to hear the secrets of the brewing process. The tasty ingredients you will try will make you feel like you are visiting a real brewery. Here you learn about the difference between an ale, lager, etc.. and our typical Belgian beers: Trappiste, Triples & Lambics. When glasses are empty, it’s time for the next degustation.
Later, we will introduce you to our favourite chocolate store of the city. Thanks to this take-away formule, you’ll discover the pallet of aromas & tastes in combination with a high quality beer.
One more thing before the tasting can start: we‘ll explore the favourite beers and taste of all visitors thanks to some beer windows on our way to the first stop.
Let’s move on to other lively beer haunts, including some hidden gems which are even unique for our locals. Live the authentic atmosphere, and at each bar or restaurant, run a beer or two by your palate. Over the course of the tour, sample a selection of bigger brands and craftwork brews, tasting a gutsy mix from malty, hoppy, fruity, reddish, and herby beers to sour and triple varieties. Trappist or Lambic beers can be enormously surprising if we match them with some chocolate or other local delicacies to enjoy the full Belgian beer-and-food experience. When glasses are empty, it will be time for the next degustation.
Last but not least, you’ll be introduced to the upscaling local craft beer market from merge brewery stories to upcoming beer business. Maybe a trappist beer like Westvleteren ,or a Bourgogne de Flandre , or another Triple , and of course one of our famous Lambic beers. We may talk about Leffe Blond, "Blue Lagoon", Guinness or "Kriek"., but we have better tasters than that ;) After 3 hours, your tour concludes in central Bruges where you’ll l be free to continue this unique beer experience.

This tour was all about discovery: five styles of Belgian beer paired with artisanal chocolate across three cozy, hidden venues. Led by a charismatic young local, it was educational, fun, and perfectly paced. Great for beginners and beer fans alike—definitely a highlight of our visit

After the experience in Ghent had an even more incredible experience in Bruges. These guides know an incredible amount about beers and can answer all questions. And the stops were all prime locations! Definitely recommended!

The whole picture was just right! The host was super cozy, friendly and (not unimportant) knew a lot about beer. In addition, you just see places that you otherwise pass by or skip. Finally, the chocolate you get is delicious. I'm going to try it in another city anyway.

Our guide was very knowledgeable in both beer and what types of chocolate goes best for sure. I loved listening to her speak about how the beer is made and the reason you'd get a light to a dark beer. She was very personable !
