Located in downtown Foshan city, it's the most popular tourist attraction combining with Ancestral Temple, Confucius Museum, Taoism Temple, Ipman Museum and local culture of Kungfu show and lion dancing.
Huangfeihong, Ipman and Bruce Lee are famous Kungfu (martial art) masters originated in Foshan, this place now serves as an academic institution inheriting the essence of Kungfu and enrolling young students for learning and practising Kungfu and lion dancing which is the highlights of the local culture.
A prosperous local street area with various Lingnan style architecture and Chinese element decoration. Shops, restaurants, cafes, dessert hut are available here, you can sample delicious good local food for lunch as a break from the tour.
First built in Song Dynasty around 1000 years ago, it carries the history and has witnessed the evolution in Chinese culture from old to modern, you can see many precious art item here like bronze mirror, tripod for incense, ancient copper bell, iron weapons, inscription on stones, golden plated wood carving and so on.
A nice beautiful private classical Chinese garden of a noble family(Surname is Liang) from Qing Dynasty, it has won the reputation of one of the "Four most splendid garden in Lingnan area". Visitors could enjoy the garden atmosphere by lingering around the delicate fake mountains, beautiful lake with koi fish, little pavilion, nice bridges and diverse ancient houses structures.
It's a multi-level museum featuring Confucius culture and education which had a great impact to southern Chinese people in the local area.
First established in Ming Dynasty around 500 years ago, the ancient kiln is a historical heritage which has witnessed the development of ceramic, porcelain and pottery in southern China

We chose the 10-hour tour, and our guide was Damon, who was very polite, helpful at everything, and very explanatory in the places we went to see. It was a fantastic experience, and an opportunity to see places that maybe alone would be difficult enough to see. He also took on ordering us at a Cantonese restaurant we went to, a menu of food that was just perfect. Damon proved to be the best choice for this tour and we were delighted to have spent this time with him with his humble character. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the tour. Damien was informative knowledgeable polite and attentive. He was ever helpful and insightful. The itinerary was satisfying and Damien took extra pains to select a fine restaurant in Foshan's Xintiandi for lunch tailored and curated to what we wanted, raw fish delight and ice sweet and sour pork. The MPV which served as our transport was clean and ever punctual. The driver was excellent and safety conscious. We were picked up at our hotel on time and Damien shared interesting nuggets of local history along the way. Highly recommended. A good time was had by all.

It was a good experience to explore the cultural side of Foshan in half a day. The city is made known by the infamous Kung Fu master, Ip Man who is a native of Foshan and also the ancestral home to Bruce Lee. Our visit to the martial art academy and watching the performance surprises us that many young talents had continue to pursue and preserve Kung Fu in this modern age. Our private tour was guided by Damon. He is an excellent English and native speaking guide, and with his vast knowledge and easy going personality, the tour was a breeze. Damon also introduced us to the origins of the Shude cuisine in Foshan city and the food were indeed commendable. As we stayed in Guangzhou, Damon also went the extra mile to share good places to dine and shop in Guangzhou too. Overall the tour to Foshan was good even though we have a feedback for the martial arts academy, that they should provide more covered seatings or standing areas for their audiences especially in such intense heat weather. But other than that, Damon is definitely an excellent choice as a guide. We highly recommend him if you like a more personal tour customized to your pace, time and preference.

Damon was very knowledgeable about the city: the best time to visit certain places to avoid Traffic and crowds, or the best place to eat to fully understand the city culture. The lion dance performance was really interesting, so is the huang fei hong and ip man museum. Truly insightful to read about these iconic masters apart from mainstream movies
