The Nobbies let visitors zoom in on the largest colony of Australian fur seals that call the rocks around the centre home. This offers an excellent opportunity to look out over the seal colony as they languish and frolic on the rocks and in the water. As well as seals, the landscape surrounding the Nobbies Information Centre is full of colourful bird species. Many varieties nest and feed on the cliffs, so keep your eyes peeled! Inside the centre, new-age screens display short presentations that dive into the life and habitat of Phillip Island. Here, you can learn more about the seals and birds you watched earlier. The observation deck (which is perhaps the most popular part of the centre) offers the best vantage point for watching the colony of seals, but it also offers views right out to the Flinders National Park, where, if you’re lucky, you can spot Western Port Bay in the distance.
As the sun sets, we head out to Summerland Beach and grab a spot on the boardwalk. Observe hundreds of little penguins come up to the shore, making their way across the beach to their homes in the sand dunes. See the world’s smallest penguin in its natural habitat from viewing stands and boardwalks. Enjoy educational displays in the visitor centre and the spectacular coastal scenery from the Penguin Parade. This experience is sure to be the highlight of your visit. On time pick up and arrangement to back was planned well as we didn't finish the trip to Philip island
We had an absolutely amazing day visiting Brighton Beach Boxes, Puffing Billy, and Phillip Island. Every destination was beautiful and memorable in its own way. The colorful Brighton Beach Boxes were stunning and perfect for photos. Puffing Billy was a unique experience, with breathtaking scenery and a relaxing ride through the lush forests. The highlight of the day was Phillip Island, especially seeing the adorable penguins and enjoying the spectacular coastal views. A special thank you to our tour guide, Curtis, who made the entire trip even more enjoyable. Curtis was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He shared interesting stories and information throughout the tour, kept everything well organized, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Thanks to Curtis, our trip was smooth, fun, and unforgettable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Melbourne. It was truly one of the best experiences of our holiday! Thank you, Curtis, for making our day so special! 🌟🚂🐧🏖️
Very very good trip. Curtis was great!!
Incredible customer service! The travel company was very helpful at accomodating us at late notice, the tour guide was very friendly, and the trip was very well planned out.
We had an amazing day today. All the details—including the bus plate number, meeting time, and the guide’s contact information—were sent a day in advance, which was very thoughtful. The coach was spacious and comfortable. The Puffing Billy train ride from Belgrave to Lakeside lasted about one hour and was a truly unique experience—being able to sit with your legs hanging out was unforgettable. Maru koala Park was also great fun, with a wide variety of local animals, and the little penguins were absolutely adorable. We even visited the Brighton beach boxes (which I heard some other tours don’t include), making it perfect for photos. Lastly, a big compliment to our guide: extremely friendly and highly professional. The timing at each stop was perfectly arranged. His English was excellent, and Chinese was equally impressive. Highly recommended!
The driver drove erractically, often speeding and hitting bumps in the road at full speed. The bus I travelled on had no immediate advertising on it so I didn't know that bus was the one I was travelling on when it arrived. The driver spoke 99% of the time in Chinese - and although my initial booking said it was a Chinese tour - I did send a text message prior to the tour to let the operator know my partner and I only spoke English. Needless to say my partner and I (who were the ONLY non Chinese passengers), missed alot of information that the driver/guide provided. The guide was NOT clear on why we stopped several times, again, probably due to explaining the stops in Chinese not English. The "coach" (who's kidding anyone it was a SMALL BUS)...was uncomfortable and I didn't enjoy the travel at all. My partner was alot more forgiving of the whole experience but personally I wouldn't recommend the whole experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re truly sorry to hear that your tour did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate your honest feedback. We strive to provide clear communication, especially for tours that are primarily conducted in a specific language. While it was stated that the tour would be in Chinese, we understand your frustration given that you had sent a message indicating that you and your partner only spoke English. We sincerely apologise if this was not addressed, and we will work to improve how we handle such requests in the future to ensure better communication and inclusivity for all our guests. Regarding the driver’s behavior, we’ve received feedback from other passengers indicating that the driver drove safely, but we take your comments seriously. We will review this with our team to ensure that all our drivers continue to uphold the highest safety standards. We also appreciate your feedback about the bus and the signage. We aim to make our services easily identifiable and comfortable, and we apologize if it fell short during your tour. We'll review our processes to ensure a better experience for future guests. Your feedback is valuable as it helps us improve our services, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide a more enjoyable experience.
The guide was very polite ، nice tour , good price for such a tour , he speaks english & chinese ! We had a really good time
Amazing, the best thing was to see the penguins. The train was a nice trip, we will recommend it to my friends.
The trip was amazing. Not only was the guide friendly and professional, he was also very calm in a sticky situation when a passenger suddenly interrupted him during the drive and demanded for him to stop speaking Chinese, as the passenger didn’t speak it. He patiently explained that this tour was supposed to be mainly a Chinese speaking tour. He actually has tried his best to speak English and looked after the English speaking passengers as well. In addition, a QR code for further information in both Chinese and English has been provided. The driver was Heny/Henry, who was exceptionally kind and understanding. The guide explained well, and clearly told us what the locations were, how long we were staying at the locations, where to go, and when to come back to the bus. He also gave long descriptions of the locations and their history. Thank you Henry/Heny, you’ve made our day!
The tour guide was really nice.. the bus though wasn’t a coach, it was a small bus.. it was raining massively in the day so, we didn’t get enjoyed the tour but they told us it can’t be changed even though it was raining since it was supposed to be scenic tour..
