Daniele was very knowledgeable, of course! And lots of fun! We made two meals from very basic ingredients. My husband and I are both well-versed in the kitchen, but we definitely picked up some tips. This is my second cooking class in Italy and much different from the first. I would’ve liked to have received a full recipe of everything that we made. Also, it would have been nice to have a little sweet afterward, but we were directed to a wonderful gelato shop. I am still bugging our chef for full recipes! Otherwise he was wonderful. And everything we made was superb! Very regional.
Great class! We had fun learning from the Chef. Tortellini was delicious and easy to make. Bolenese sauce was thick and flavorful. Wonderful hands on experience.
It’s a fun and truly learning class, after this, we will never go back to buying tortellini, pasta and ragú! It was the most delicious version we’ve ever had. We were treated like friends and the place was very clean and nice for the class! We highly recommend it.
We attended Daniele's pasta course, and we were both absolutely thrilled and would highly recommend it to anyone! :) Daniele is super friendly, knows his craft inside and out, and has a very relaxed way of sharing his knowledge. You immediately warm to him and leave with a wonderful experience. In addition to an entertaining and straightforward workshop, you'll enjoy some delicious wine tastings in between, and of course, the whole experience is rounded off with an authentic, homemade meal at the end.
Daniele is an amazing chef and such a nice person to be around! We had a blast! He promised to send us the recipes, can’t wait to try them out back home!
It was fun and learn quite a bit, food was amazing. We were promised recipes would follow but never received them.
Tour was cancelled when we already arrived even though tour was still taking place, we travelled to the venue by taxi to be told they had too many people and we had been refunded tour started at 10am got the email at 1006 am to say it was cancelled with no reasons
Dear Steve_W, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t what you expected. We will follow up with the tour to find out what happened and ensure this does not happen again. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip. Sincerely, Eatwith Team
Not sure why it is called cooking in a grocery store. This is not a grocery, it is a small bar. Daniel was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Some problem at the beginning of the class with an extra couple, which took time. Also, he seemed distracted, having to call a friend to go buy the cheese we needed for the recipe. Ending was a great lunch, but he didn't join us, he was washing the floor of the bar. He said he would send recipes, but we have not received yet.

Very chilled out and relaxed cooking class. It started - as every day should - with a strong coffee. We were brought to a local cafe around the corner for the fortifying drink. Then back to learn how to make traditional broth and ragu. A cheeky glass of wine mid-morning before tucking into pasta making: tagiatelle and tortellini from first principles. Finally we sat down to eat our creations alongside some locals workers who popped in for their lunch. Great experience.
Hand making pasta turning it into Tagliatelle and tortellini ( sort of) was so much fun and finally eating. Daniele was fun and very patient . A great day and very glad we did it
