Itinerary
We begin our walk in Bologna on one of the most characteristic streets by discovering a fantastic aspect of the city: its very long porticoes!
Its name already evokes the allure of the sea and the power of a god. But this Bolognese square is much more than that: a true microcosm encompassing history, art, culture and even a dash of gossip!
We find ourselves in the renowned Piazza Maggiore, the beating heart of Bologna, the result of a long and gradual process of transformation over the centuries. This space was originally intended for people’s meetings and commercial activities, serving as a hub for the city’s social and economic life.
The majestic façade of the Basilica of San Petronio certainly does not go unnoticed, with its obvious unfinishedness that almost seems to indicate a knife slashing through it. Its history is shrouded in mystery with stories that mix reality and legend. Let's discover everything!
Just a stone’s throw from the main square of the city we find one of the most representative historical places of Bolognese culinary culture.
A beautiful library (unfortunately not visited by tourists) but also a fantastic anatomy room and other rooms that can be visited for 3€.
Also known as the “Seven Churches Complex” although it is difficult to say what the true origin of this nickname is. The most credited hypothesis goes back to the initial design. Let's discover everything!
Bologna is full of peculiar stories and I couldn’t help but tell you the one about the three arrows! Let's talk about a famous legend of the city!
Also known as the Two Towers although they are not the same as those used in “Lord of the Rings” (sorry for the nerdy joke but I had to make it ) are an icon of the city and a must-see for anyone who visits. Unfortunately, they cannot be visited as the facilities are not safe for tourists. It is still worth seeing them up close!

It is very well written, funny and informative, easy to follow and learn a bit about the unusual things in Bologna
Time management was excellent, the language was too obviously AI-controlled, some pronunciations were incorrect, and the information was sufficient.
After a short adjustment period, the platform proved to be very helpful. The hints and information were comprehensive and very interesting. Everything could be experienced at one's own pace and without time pressure. We can highly recommend Walking Cap.
Be autiful experience. I would like to advise this tour to people who need calm, freedom and many time.
The guide was very helpful, and the fact that you can do it at your own pace is a big advantage. We covered everything in 2 days. The restaurant recommendations and tips were very useful.
No meeting point specified. Despite extensive efforts, starting point not found.

App is easy to use and leads you to a great placed :) happy with purchase !
Difficult to navigate and find one's way. A lot of time wasted trying to find one's way. Narration is okay, nothing more. AI?
Ciao! We use google maps to navigate since it's the best and easiest platform to use so.. we are sorry that you had problems with that 🥲! Most of people really enjoy this choice since they are already practical with that! Hope that this answer can help other travellers! Ciao Federica
Good walking tour of Bologna, passing the main sights. Interaction with Google maps works fine. The route remains visible even after closing. The link will continue to work even after 1 day, so you can spread it over several days. I did not like the spoken text in English to listen to, was ugly spoken English. The written text was fine. I ordered nicely for 2 people, also paid twice the price, which is not expensive. I got 1 standard link with 1 password, which I could share. So ordering for 1 person and sharing with your travel companions works great, I think.
Just the right length and amount of information to enjoy the city
