Very informative, historical and interesting. Bologna’s history is rich in commercial and scientific enterprise.
We would have walked 2 days with Maurizio instead of just 2 h. He is a gifted and very knowledgeable guide and is a walking chat GPT. Thanks a lot Maurizio !
Really inciteful walking tour around the city. Excellent, knowledgeable guide who shared lots of history and facts. Small group so plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Highly recommended.
Do it! We learned a ton about the city and saw the major sites and monuments that my guidebook had recommended.
Very nice and competent guide, everything was perfect
Very nice tour overall. The group was quite small - just three of us plus the guide, meaning that it was quite easy to follow and listen. We've traversed along and across the major see sights and some interesting back streets. The guide was quite informative and answered any questions arouse. The duration of the tour was around 2h which is perfect for introduction to the city of Bologna.
The walking tour is a nice way to learn about the history of Bologna and see some of the main landmarks. To enter the cathedral, you need to cover your shoulders and not be wearing shorts/dresses that are too short. Plan accordingly. It was our guide's first time doing this particular tour so it was a little less interactive that I had hoped but still very interesting.
Worst walking tour I have done. The guide was totally random firing out all sorts of historical stuff randomly as it came into her head - on many occasions not related at all to the buildings. She also just kept walking off not keeping the group together It was for the most part boring and unfathomable - like walking around with a mad eccentric Aunt ! Think she said she had been a teacher - she should have stuck to that We weren’t the only ones rolling our eyes - we nearly just walked of but stuck with it seing as we had paid £25 each for the privilege Treat this as a formal complaint TripAdvisor as we booked through you - can we have our money back please
Good overview of Bologna. Guides English was just OK and a pity someone was correcting her along the route.
Very interesting tour; learned a lot about Bologna and its history and culture. Our guide was not only quite knowledgeable but also very articulate and enthusiastic. She knew so much detail!
