Step aboard Hawea, our hand-built 50′ catamaran, for a 90-minute afternoon sail that blends the laid-back spirit of Waikiki with the festive energy of happy hour. Cruise along the coastline toward iconic Leahi (Diamond Head) with breathtaking views, turquoise waters, and warm ocean breezes all around. This experience includes all-inclusive drinks from our onboard bar: enjoy mai tais, island-inspired cocktails made with fresh local fruits, crisp local beers, refreshing Hawaiian seltzers, fine wines, and a variety of non-alcoholic options to suit every guest. Enjoy shaded and open-air seating, a friendly local crew, and plenty of photo-worthy moments as you sail through paradise. We loved our sail! The crew was professional and courteous. Cameron did a great job of checking in on all of the passengers to be sure we were doing well! The captain obviously loves his job which makes it fun for everyone!!
I went on an excursion with my sister-in-law and our 3 teens, and everyone absolutely loved it! The boat itself is beautiful! It's clean and well organized for a wonderful experience. Our hosts were fun and helpful at every turn, and of course, the location is gorgeous, and the waves were a blast!! I highly recommend this experience to anyone! Just don't forget your sunscreen. We were a little burnt when we got back, but it was SO worth it! It was an unforgettable experience!
The staff was amazing and treated is like family. It was the best experience of our trip to Waikiki Beach. The price was also a factor in the Hāwea Catamaran ride was beatiful and the knowledge of the staff was educational experience…
I took my two granddaughters four years old and seven years old. DEZ the first mate greeted everyone and made us all feel at home and safe.The trip was so much fun first, we headed out over the waves with the surfers were surfing and headed overtowards Diamondhead. It was a little breezy and it was so fun when the water splashed up on the net. My granddaughter spotted some flying fish. She was so excited. Captain Kapono turned the boat around. Headed over to turtle Canyon to see if we could see a few turtles. The water was crystal. Clear we could see fish and all the wayThe feel of the ocean was very calm and relaxing Claire was bartending downstairs sharing her smiles and working hard. The boat is so comfortable. You can get out of the sun if you want to and enjoy the trip just as much from the inside. I definitely recommend Hawea it is by far the most comfortable and experienced cat out there on the beach of Waikiki . A special thanks to the crew Captain Kapono DEZ and Claire! And WOODY for making our day the best and very enjoyable for everyone!

Really good 1.5 hour mid-afternoon sail compared to other catamaran Co.'s 1 hour trip. Also, the complimentary adult mixed drinks are poured by hand instead of having just a pre-mixed jug of mai tais. To use their "Kama'aina" discounts for Oahu residents It's cheaper if you call for reservations only, if not, booking online is easy. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, explains the safety rules of the sail. Great trip for sun and fun on the seas with your friends and family as we did for our friend's birthday.
Had such a great time that we did the Ahola Sail twice during our visit. The Crew was awesome and took extra time to make sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. The Aloha Hour Sail is the best bang for your buck due to the inclusive drinks. If you have more than 2, it pays for itself and you can't beat that view! We also did the Snorkel and Friday Fireworks tour, but the Aloha Sail was our Fave! Big thank you to Dez, Tommy, Claire, Phoenix, Captain Carlos and Captain Pono.
This is the best happy hour and a half and true sailing experience in Waikiki!! Captain Cam took us on a fun sail out past Diamondhead and everyone enjoyed the wind, waves and great tunes! Lucy kept the fabulous drinks flowing and Carlos was attentive and helping everyone get their best photos. It was a blast. This crew provides such a friendly and fun adventure and tfw bar has a great selection of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. We’ll be back!

The experience was great from start to finish! Great friendly and helpful crew, really the best! The boat was so clean and well maintained including the 2 bathrooms (heads) on the boat. I rebooked for another cruise on the boat!!! Did I mention they have stairs from the beach to the boat deck making it super easy to board from the beach.
