Itinerary
Set off on your sailing adventure on Europe's largest and most spacious passenger sailing catamaran. Our luxurious catamaran will take you to the best swimming and snorkelling locations Malta has to offer. FROM JUNE UNTIL OCTOBER EXPERIENCE AN ADULT ATMOSPHERE. ONLY PERSONS THAT ARE 12 YEARS AND OVER ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN THIS EXPERIENCE The sailing catamaran will stop at two or three prime locations for swimming and snorkelling. These locations may change daily due to prevailing weather and sea conditions, and accessibility to the site. Whichever of the below locations you go to, you will have the best day out this summer. The catamaran will only have one stop in Blue Lagoon on the sunset trip in October.
Comino Island has two fantastic stops for swimming and snorkelling - Blue & Crystal Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is the most famous swimming spot with its crystal clear turquoise waters, tempting those that want to cool off on a hot summer's day. We moor in a secluded private area on the Blue Lagoon where the snorkelling is much more enjoyable.
A possible destination is Crystal Lagoon. With sheer cliff drops surrounding the Crystal Lagoon, it can only be reached by sea and you won't find a better snorkelling spot on Comino Island. It's crystal clear waters are much deeper than at the Blue Lagoon which makes the area fantastic for snorkelling and swimming in and around the caves.
Another possible destination is the five-star sandy beaches of Ghajn Tuffieha. At Ghajn Tuffieha you will have time to swim, snorkel and have lots of water fun. Or if you prefer something more relaxing then why not laze the day away on our sunbeds or trampoline nets with a fantastic cocktail or two. - Sunbeds and trampoline nets are on a first-come, first-served basis.
If we go to Ghajn Tuffieha on the day of your excursion then we will stop to discover the film set of Popeye village tucked away in the charming Anchor's bay. Make sure to have your cameras ready for some unique photos.
We may also visit other locations such as the long sandy beaches of Mellieha or the red sandy beach of Ramla il-Hamra in Gozo.
To reach the departure location from Valletta, take a bus heading towards St Pauls Bay and get off at the Moll bus stop.

We had such a beautiful experience at this restaurant. The location itself is amazing, with breathtaking seaside views that immediately create a calm and relaxing mood. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Maltese coast, especially around sunset when everything looks even more magical. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. The staff were attentive and professional, making sure everything was comfortable and well organized even during busy hours. A special mention to the hostess Mateen, who handled guest seating smoothly and maintained a friendly and calm attitude throughout the evening. The atmosphere was made even more special with live guitar music playing in the background. It added a soft, relaxing touch to the evening without overpowering the natural sounds of the sea. It truly felt like the perfect balance of entertainment and tranquility. After visiting places like the Blue Lagoon and enjoying Malta’s beautiful waters, this dinner felt like the perfect way to end the day. The combination of great service, lovely ambience, and stunning surroundings makes this a place we would definitely return to and recommend to anyone visiting the island.
We were a bit disappointed with this tour. The company only messaged us through Viator on the morning of the tour to explain the registration process, which added unnecessary stress to the start of our day. The staff on the boat spoke limited English, so it was often difficult to understand where we were going next. We spent more than an hour at Crystal Lagoon having lunch. The food was tasty, the portions were generous, and it even included a cocktail, but we were hoping to spend time at an actual beach. The itinerary states that you may visit Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, Mellieha, or a beach in Gozo, but instead we only passed by Popeye Village for about five minutes and stopped at Imgiebah Bay, where we couldn’t even get off the boat. The location itself wasn’t particularly impressive either. Overall, the experience was very disappointing for the price. I would recommend booking a private tour instead—one that is less crowded and actually includes time at a beach
Crew did an amazing job, specially Neil! Our group had so much fun and no complaints! So much better than the other tours that were offered.
I lived on the beach and was tortured by local teenagers who have hidden from justice since then. They have rich and powerful families and think they are above the law. Why would anyone visit Florianapolis that allows this behaviour to go unpunished by justice. It is not a safe place.
The book was cancelled due to storm issues and I didn’t get my money back even though when I reached the Viator company
The Blue Lagoon and surrounding beaches and bays are absolutely breathtaking. The water is incredibly clear with beautiful shades of blue and turquoise, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. The scenery is stunning and feels almost unreal, especially on a sunny day. It’s a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy nature at its best. Although it can get busy during peak times, it’s still well worth the visit for the unforgettable views and crystal-clear sea.
Was a great way to see the Blue Lagoon at sunset. Good stops along the way to see the sights. Definitely recommend!
I was with my family of 5, and I was worried as a lot of reviews for this and other boat trips said the boats got really crowded. Perhaps we got lucky but the crowds were not too bad when we went and the boat ride was amazing! We got to make a lot of cool stops, swim, use the slide on the boat, and get some cool photos. One thing to note is that they leave at very strict times and the departure dock is a little bit of a walk, so try to find it early (15 minutes early to find should be okay. It's by a little wood deck... I emailed the company to get a better clarification). Also, we did the ride during the sunset towards the end to see the sunset views. Lastly, they offer food but I suggest you wait till the end as you make a stop on an island with some vendors who have more food options for the same prices so you get choice. You'll likely be hungry towards the second half of the trip and you may regret not optin in for food, but once you get to the last island and can buy food, it's worth. Also the final island takes card so don't worry if you don't have cash.
Great experience. This is the second time I've been on this trip. The first experience was slightly better due to the total number of stopoffs the first boat trip had. I do realise that the number of stops is dictated by the weather but it was a slight shame we didn't experience more of the coast line on our recent trip.
We're on a big catamaran with a lot of people. But everything is well organized, nice views. Swimming , sunset, small convenient bar. Music a little loud. I'm done.
