Asker was a fantastic guide. Very friendly and a Bilbao resident so lots of local family knowledge as well as the history of the old town. A very informative and enjoyable tour.
Our guide, Iger, was a great guy! Extensive knowledge on the area and of Bilbao itself. He had a quick smile and seemed to really enjoy what he was doing, which made the tour fun to be on.
I believe our tour guide is Beatriz and she spoke English well. She was a great guide. She was energetic, friendly and knowledgeable. She spoke about the history of Bilbao and the significance of each location that we viewed. She was also helpful in pointing out good places to eat. I would highly recommend this your. It was worth the money.
great in depth tour of casco viejo- very detailed and entertaining tour guide who clearly loves history. I really enjoyed learning from him and getting an orientation to Bilbao and its history and transformation.
Wonderful walking tour of Bilboa. Beatrice was so knowledgeable about everything. Our group had so many questions and she always had the answer. She made great recommendations for food and other things to see. This is a must do.
Beatriz was smart, knowledgeable, and friendly. We learned a lot about the city and the Basque culture. Highly recommend!
Received a notification that start time moved up to 0945. We arrived at the meet point early to be informed that a family of four were going to be late. So we did not start the tour until 1000. Made no sense. Jose, the guide, spoke English well enough and he had a good grasp of the local history to include personal experiences. Some constructive criticism: use shade to your advantage vs. letting your tour bake in the sun. We stood next to the Art Theatre in the sun for almost 30 minutes with available shade next to the building or at the park just across the street. In addition be aware of your surroundings: at the city square in old town he positioned us next to a restaurant that was setting up thier outdoor patio vs. numerous locations in the square with shade and no distractions. The walking tour was less than a mile in total. Not a lot of walking. Jose departed early to meet another group, hence the early proposed start time that ended up not happening due to late arrivals. Average tour. Would recommend an alternate tour if available.
Such an informative and interesting tour with Beatriz. She was an amazing guide, full of stories and local anecdotes as well as a detailed history of the city. Her tour was a great way to get to know the old town informally but with a huge amount of information delivered in an easy and digestible way.
Miguel talked about Spanish and Bilbaos history, architecture, food and culture in both funny and educational way.
Excellent guide. Captivating speaker with a wide knowledge on Bilbao.
