An absolute gem of a tour with Joserra! A perfect blend of history, interesting facts and beautiful hidden gems that you wouldn't find on your own. Joserra was incredibly animated and passionate and make the tour a highlight of our weekend away!
Excellent walking tour. Interesting and informative.
Our guide Miguel was very broad and knowledgable on everything from history to economics and culture. He also told several personal family stories that enlightened even further. I would say this was the best tour I have ever had!
Andy was knowledgeable and had a good understanding of just how much we could take in by way of history. Great personality, very friendly and obliging. The walk was done at a great pace to suite everyone of all ages. Pat on the back to Andy for a job well done. On completion of the tour, we fell in love with Bilbao and would love to return some day to explore further.
Ana was an excellent guide. She demonstrated mastery of all the topics. She answered all the questions kindly. She was attentive to everyone at all times.
Miguel was a fantastic guide, sharing local and personal knowledge about BIlbao's culture and history. He gave true insight into the Basque region and brought the region to life.
Great tour for learning the history of Bilbao and an overview of Bilbao. Easy walking. Small group. Guide offered many options for sightseeing.
Very informative and friendly. Small group size is great
Our guide Joserra Combarro was excellent! He is very articulate, informed and humorous, it was a fun walking tour.
We stayed in a downtown hotel, the Barcelo Nevion which put one in the middle of everything. We were easily able to walk to Old Town which had interesting historic buildings, shops and great restaurants along with a segment of the Camino de Santiago. The main plaza of Old Town had a host of small cafes that featured pintxos, the Basque snack or lunch staple and txakoli, a young white wine that is wonderful. Inexpensive enough to try these at several cafes. It was an easy walk along the very pleasant promenade to the Guggenheim Museum and Artxanda Funicular for a spectacular city view. There are many other things to do within a short bus or taxi ride, the Vizcaya Bridge, Guernica, the Coast.
