The Concordia train station, designed at the beginning of the 19th century with striking architecture both inside and out, will be our starting point on this alternative route through the Bilbao La Vieja neighborhood.
Located to the left of the San Antón Bridge, it owes its name to an old tower house that stood nearby. Today it is a place full of bars and restaurants that reflects the change in the neighborhood in recent years.
The former nursery is an old building in which the children of day laborers were cared for and today the goal is to turn it into a center to promote innovation projects. Nearby we will also visit different works of urban art made by local artists (external visit only).
Former 17th century church converted into a cultural center with a concert hall, cinema and workshop rooms.
Old calcination furnace of the San Luis Mine that has remained as a reminder of the mining past of the area and that leads to the Miribilla neighborhood, the last urban regeneration of the area.
Former border between old Bilbao and Calle de San Francisco, it has now been converted into an area with a lot of atmosphere thanks to the new restaurants and works of urban art that dot all its corners.
In this square, the nerve center of the multicultural neighborhood of San Francisco, there is a site of an old Franciscan convent from the 16th century as well as Sarean, a neighborhood meeting space managed by a neighborhood cultural association. Here we will have the opportunity to finish the route having a beer.
Artistic production center in the center of Bilbao where professionals in screen printing, sculpture and technology share a space, being a clear benchmark for the Basque cultural scene.
Tour and explanations about the impact of the Guggenheim Museum and its sculptures outside

Amazing tour. The city was brought to life with interesting stories of the history and culture of Bilbao by our tour guide, who was passionate about the arts. A fantastic guide. We had a wonderful tour - would highly recommend
This is a great tour to do for anyone interested in art, culture, history and people. Our guide Txema was an absolute fountain of knowledge about Bilbao, knowledgeable and non-judgemental. The story of the re-generation of Bilbao la Vieja through art is inspirational. For my daughter and I it was one of the highlights of our trip, I would thoroughly recommend this tour :)
