You who are visiting Lima for the first time or who were delighted with our gastronomy, we invite you to enjoy the best option to tour, discover, taste, and enjoy Lima by Bicycle. You will be accompanied by a specialized guide, who will share the history of each place we visit, you will taste fruits and typical dishes. Tastings are included in the cost of the service. Additionally, keep in mind that the bicycles used on our routes are super comfortable since they have gears and facilitate the routes. The level of demand is minimal. Before leaving our meeting point. The certified guide will explain the registration process and provide directions for the route. You will take the bicycle and safety equipment to start pedaling. It will start from the cycle path of Av. 28 de Julio to take the Larco cycle path towards Kennedy Park, here the history of the 7 de Junio Park will be shared. Space to enjoy the landscape and take beautiful photos.
We then headed to the surquillo market where we shared about the factors and changes that led to the use of formal markets today after the arrival of the Spanish. Inside the market you will taste native fruits of the country such as Lúcuma, Chirimoya, Pitaya, Tuna, etc. (Cost of fruit tasting included). It also allows us to enjoy aromas such as herbs and spices, see the variety of fish and shellfish, as well as flowers. If you wish, you will have the opportunity to do some shopping and help local producers.
Huarique – Typical food tasting Already with the knowledge of the ingredients and main protagonists of our Peruvian food, we headed to Huarique (Local Food Restaurant) to enjoy a delicious Ceviche, Peruvian cause or fish chicharrón. We also have the option of Mushroom Ceviche for those who do not eat fish, it is necessary to confirm in advance. (Tasting cost is included).
We leave from Huarique in the direction of Miraflores along the boardwalk. Along the way, they tell about the Larco family, and continue with the history of gastronomy while we walk along the Jose Pardo cycle path and the boardwalk. A stop is made at one of the viewpoints to enjoy the contrast of the green of our gardens with the blue of the Pacific Ocean. We continue pedaling until we reach the Lighthouse and enjoy nature.
On this tour, you will be able to see examples of the Nazca lines, drawn with flowers. You will hear from the German historian Maria Reiche who dedicated her life to researching them.
We continue the journey towards a point that cannot be missed, emblematic image of love, monument of the kiss. Nice meeting point to record this memory some nice photos. To end the tour, return to the starting point.

Our Guide was super friendly, he knew a lot about everything he explained. He took us to very godfather corners of Miraflores and had a lot of patience with us. We had so much fun.
A few weeks ago, I traveled to Lima from Mexico and made the mistake of booking a gastronomic tour with Huarique Bikes. From the beginning, the service was deficient, and they were slow to respond, but I decided to trust them anyway. I paid 96 dollars, and they canceled the tour one day before without any explanation or alternatives. They promised to refund my money, but only returned part of it and have since stopped responding to my messages. As a foreign visitor, one expects decent service, but this service is a complete scam! HUARIQUE BIKES IS TERRIBLE. AVOID THIS FRAUD AT ALL COSTS.
Our guides, Mariano & Shila, were excellent hosts to Lima. They introduced us passionately to the City and culture. The tour started with a coastal ride and then moved inland to the market where our education of local fruits and fish began. We then went to lunch to a local restaurant that gave us an opportunity to taste a little of what we’d been learning about at the market.

This was an amazing tour! Our guides were absolutely wonderful, the market was quite tasty and interesting and the numerous parks were very cool. This is a really great introduction to Peru and it's culinary side.
