Itinerary
From the pier, (or your selected point) you drive to the Medieval City to D’Amboise Gate. From this point your Guided Walking Tour starts with your Tour Guide, for pictures from outside of the most important monuments of the Old Town: The ORIGINAL LOCATION OF THE COLOSSUS OF RHODES, the Grand Masters Palace, the Street of the Knights, the Ruins of Sent John Cathedral, the Archeological Museum, the Byzantine museum. Your walking tour end at the Marina Gate where you will find your Minibus waiting for you.
Your driven tour continues and pass by the Mandraki Old Harbor, where according to the tradition (not the real location), the Colossus of Rhodes once stood. (You have already visited the original location of the Colossus of Rhodes during your walking tour in the Old Town)
You continue to Monte Smith Hill (Acropolis of Rhodes Town) on the way you see the North point of the Island where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea meet. A Panoramic Drive of the Acropolis of Rhodes and the magnificent view of the West Coast of the Island. On your left side you see the temple of Apollo and on your right side the blue turquoise water of the Aegean Sea (You get out of the Minibus for pictures)
The drive continues south east 50 kilometers / 32 miles to Lindos, on the way a short stop at a traditional pottery work shop to watch a demonstration of how the famous Rhodian potteries - ceramics are made. Here you’ll see how the potter works at his wheel to make the famous rhodian potteries. You can also learn the mystery of the Pythagorean cup! Guided Tour
On the way to Lindos you can see the Tsambika Beach - Sandy smooth beach with crystal clear waters
On the way to Lindos we stop at a vantage point for a panoramic picture from a distance of Lindos Beach. Wonderful white sand, flat calm seas and great beach side. The beach is overlooked by the beautiful acropolis. From the same point you can get your panoramic photos of the White Village and Acropolis of Lindos
One mile before Lindos you stop at a vantage point for a panoramic picture of the Acropolis, the Village, and the Port of Lindos. You continue to Lindos village and from this point your Guided Walking Tour starts with your Tour Guide through the village (walk the alleys of Lindos) up to Acropolis If you wish you can skip the climb up 292 steps to acropolis. Your Tour Guide can show you from vantage points the acropolis and you get your photos from a distance. This way you skip the crowds, save time and money and have more time to explore the White Village, just talk to your tour guide
Once you reach the summit of the Acropolis with your tour guide, you'll see the magnificent remains of past civilizations and enjoy the 360 panoramic. However, you can skip, if you wish the visit up to Acropolis and the 292 steps. Please let us know in advance or talk to your tour guide – The tour is 100% Flexible LINDOS ACROPOLIS E-TICKET SYSTEM (12 Euros p.p.) At Lindos Acropolis, entry is by specific time slots covered by the e-ticket system. Typically, visitors reach Lindos village approximately 3 hours after the tour begins. You can buy online in advance, or few hours before your visit, or once you are in Lindos village before ascending to the acropolis The tickets are non-refundable
On the way back from Lindos we drive down to Saint Paul's bay, incredible wild beauty. Here is where the apostle is said to have landed in the year 51 AD to preach Christianity to the Rhodians. From this point you can also view the cave where the film “The Guns of Navarone” was filmed. (Guided Tour)
On the way back from Lindos you stop for Delicious Snack or Lunch Experiences (At your own expense) at Haraki seaside village at the Mediterranean Sea right on the water’s edge, with fresh seafood / Greek cuisine and excellent local wines. Scenic. At the beginning and at the end of the tourist season, we may change the restaurant at the sea with a traditional Greek restaurant (traditional Greek restaurant is from November to end of April)
On the way back after the Lunch Break in Charaki village, you have an optional stop for Wine and Olive Oil Tasting. Here you can taste a big variety of local excellent wines, and different flavors of olive oil infused with dried herbs. Entrance Fee 3 Euros per person, not included in the price of the tour
We continue along the coastal road and see Kallithea Spa. In this naturally landscaped setting, the film "Escape to Athena" with Telly Savalas and Roger Moore was filmed. Some scenes from the film "The Guns of Navarone" were also filmed here too. We finish the tour back to the cruise port, (or your hotel) or the Old Town for free browsing (The Old Town is a 10 min walk from the Cruise Port)
On the way back we driver via the coastal road of Faliraki Sandy Beach. Open only during the summer season, its only purpose is to provide its visitors a vacation that they will not forget.

Please let us know the time you wish to start your tour RHODES CRUISE PORT: We'll meet you at the dockside, just out of your ship with a sign on the vehicle showing your name. Usually beside the tour buses of your cruise line. We are licensed to get into the dockside. Rhodes is a dock port (All passengers disembark right at the pier, no tender boats or cable cars) so it’s easy to disembark. HOTEL: We pickup from any hotel in Rhodes Town (our headquarters). On the East Coast of the island we pickup till Kolymbia (25km / 15 miles from Rhodes Town). On the West Coast of the island till the Paradisi Village (14km / 8,6 miles from Rhodes Town).

Incredible tour of Rhodes – our 1st visit to Rhodes via a stop on Celebrity Infinity cruise. What a surprise to find Nicholas, the owner/manager of Rhodes Private Tours waiting for us as soon as we got off the ship. So welcoming! It was an incredible private tour of the Rhodes - stopped at the north part of the island and learned and viewed the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas where they meet. Our next stop was Lindos to view St. Paul’s Beach, the Acropolis and plenty of time to shop. Made a surprise stop at Kallithea Springs (absolutely beautiful). Lovely full day tour. There was a travel guide strike the day we came so we were offered a refund or could do the tour with no guide and just the driver. We opted for the driver and it was an amazing day. He knew so much and took us to all the highlights. We had a breathtaking lunch by the beach...we did not want to leave. Thank you!!!

Absolutely loved our tour of Rhodes with our guide Kostas. The private transportation was spacious which was perfect for our family of 10. The owner came to meet me at the beginning and then called half way through our day to check in. There is no way we could have packed in so much during our short visit without this! Kostas was friendly and fun. My 9 year old states that it was his favorite part of our trip to Greece!

There are no words to describe this experience for my family and I. We booked an all-day tour through Nik. First of all, I can't say enough good things about Nik. He's super responsive, provides a very professional service and was flexible in accommodating changes to the itinerary. We ended up being a group of 9 and were met conveniently close to our cruise ship. Nik himself came down to ensure everything started out on the right track. Our driver and guide were amazing, and we had a very informative and fun day. We were able to see everything on our list and more and we learned so much about the culture as a bonus. To cap off our day, we stopped at a delicious small restaurant for delicious seafood. If you are considering a tour, you can't do better than this!

There are not enough positive words I can say about this tour. The owner of the company met us promptly as scheduled and introduced us to our guide, Costas, and driver. We were given an excellent tour of the beautiful walled city of Rhodes and then headed down the coast for a tour of historic and beautiful Lindos. Costas’ commentary throughout was outstanding. He not only told us about his island and culture, but also gave us Greek lessons. On the way back we stopped at a delightful restaurant on the beach for lunch frequented by locals. The owner checked on us throughout the tour and sent a very nice thank you note afterward. This tour provided the best service we have ever experienced in our many travels. I highly recommend it when you are in Rhodes.

Wonderful tour tailored to our requirements Jun 2022 We had asked for this tour to be adapted to our requirements which Nicholas had arranged without hesitation. Our driver Micheal was such a lovely man and so knowledgable of the area it was a joy listening to him. He took us to some lovely places stopping for photo opportunities along the way. We were given adequate free time to explore some sites including Lindos and shown many interesting things we would have missed without Michael. The Taverna we were taken to for lunch was a spectacular outdoor eatery with wonderful views over the bay, and the food was delicious. We would recommend these tours without hesitation.
