This 2 hours walking city tour will take you to the highlights of the city of Florence after sunset with a top-rated local guide. Itinerary
Walk around the core of Florence in the company of a local guide and you will learn something of the city’s history, especially during the Renaissance period. You will see first the outside of the Church of Santa Croce, the principal Franciscan church of Florence with its wonderful frescoes.
going by the most famous squares, we'll make a beeline for Piazza della Repubblica and after that to Ponte Vecchio to see its prestigious gem specialists' shops.
As you meander through Florence’s streets and piazzas you come to the political centre of the city, Piazza della Signoria. On one side is the Uffizi Gallery once the home of the Great Duke’s of Florence and on the opposite side of the piazza the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, former seat of the Florentine government.
The final visit of the tour is to the famous Piazza Duomo with its marvelous cathedral noted for its dazzling green and white marble. At this point your guide will take you to the Basilica of San Lorenzo where you will say your goodbyes and then be free to explore this wonderful church at your leisure.

Leonardo was amazing! He took us on a night tour of Florence- provided interesting historical information that entertained our entire family (myself, my husband and our 12 year old daughter). He was extremely kind energetic and funny. He took great photos and provided recommendations for restaurants that we absolutely loved. Would highly recommend!

I'm so glad I booked this tour my first night in Florence. Stefania was a warm, engaging, extremely knowledgeable guide. The tour covered the city's interesting history, cultural highlights and also gave me a good idea of the layout of the city. It also helped clarify different places I want to make sure to visit while I'm here. Very glad I took the tour at night as the city looks especially beautiful illuminated at night and there are fewer tourists out at that time. This walking tour is a perfect length and is a great intro to major Florentine landmarks and their history. But our guide also emphasized underappreciated gems like the Bargello and Santa Croce which are worth a visit.
Learnt a great deal about Florence on this 2 hour tour. Highly recommend doing this first night so you know what to look for, the history, building styles and crests and most important which museums and cathedrals / church you may want to visit during your holiday.
We did this tour on a friends recommendation first night in Florence and I will tell you it was the best decision. Daniel our tour guide was awesome, knowledgeable and we had him all to ourselves!! :) This tour gave us a taste of the city and what things to check out more in detail on the next couple days we were there!
