Itinerary
Welcome to the Troll Museum in Bergen - the largest museum in Norway dedicated entirely to trolls and fairy tales. Centrally located in Bergen city, we aim to bring you closer to the magic of Norwegian folk beliefs and the creatures that populate them. Our museum is a unique blend of detailed handmade art, traditional storytelling, and modern digital technologies. The exhibits incorporate augmented reality features that superimpose moving elements and sound on the art you can see. In addition, the museum is equipped with immersive technologies and interactive elements, all of which expand on the physical exhibit and bring you further into the world of fairy tales. This translates into a unique museum experience where you can dip your toes into Norwegian folklore and discover how the idea of trolls has changed over time. The museum also has a number of board games and creativity zones where you can have some fun, as well as a small library stocked with books of fairy tales.

Great and exceeded expectations as very informative! Lots to look at, the audio guide is great. Info on the history of trolls snd mtyths/legends. Loved it all, great for adults and older kids.
Got in right away .Not busy.500 K for 3 people.Small museum with a couple of fun exhibits.Got through in less than half an hour.
Not what I expected. About writers that wrote about Trolls. Lots of audio and poster boards to read about history.
To do with a child who is not too small, as some trolls may scare them. It's fun and interesting
This museum is walkable from most cruise ships. It is in the heart of town. It will give you a lot of information about how trolls started from history. Illustrations are cute and audio systems good. Will take you 1 or 2 hours depot how much information you want to gather.
I think I would’ve got more from the experience had I not been on the cruise first, where I learned a lot about Trolls
A really disappointing experience for both adults. Nothing really to do unless you want to read or listen to audio messages on the history of trolls. We wanted to see trolls and there were barely any. We had more fun at the airport putting our heads through the cardboard cutouts. Unless you have children I wouldn’t bother and at £20.00 each it’s not cheap. Person we bought our tickets from was utterly miserable.
Some parts of the museum weren’t of interest to me, but they did have some cool and interactive displays that I appreciated. Don’t know if I would have gone had it not been a rainy day in Bergen.
Great for kids of all ages. Cost $250 nok. It could take 2-3 hrs to go thru it and so activities. Great folklore and fairy tales. Fun interactive displays.
Great experience, enjoyed by our group of 6. Exceeded our expectations, and this group of seniors were so impressed by the interactive area set up for children that we spent at least 45 minutes playing and having fun.
