From Bergen we drive along the fjord and white water rapids to reach Vossevangen, a charming town nestled between a vast lake and a mighty mountain range. From Vossevangen, we drive to the twin waterfall of 'Skjervsfossen' - famed for its natural beauty and a fancy toilet! We take the walking path all the way to the foot of the waterfall and capture the moment with picture perfect photographs! Enjoy the drive as we go through tunnels with roundabouts and cross the longest suspension bridge in Norway located in the middle of the Queen of Fjords - The Hardanger Fjord. Get ready for Absolutely stunning views!
Through swinging mountain roads, we reach one of the most visited waterfalls in Norway - 'Voringsfossen'! After lunch, we drive on the Fjord side 'Norwegian National Scenic Road' of Hardanger, part of 18 such designated scenic roads in Norway. The wonderful 'Steep' Waterfall also known as 'The bridal veil'. If the walking path is open, we will walk down to the foot of the waterfall (waterfall has around 80 meters drop!) and feel the nature as the water sprinkles on our face! This tour by Ani was excellent. Not only did we get to see spectacular views of not just waterfalls but mountains and all the other nature Norway had to offer, we learned from Ani all about history, culture, nature and other facts about Norway during the drive all over Bergen and surrounding areas. He stopped at other places with time permitting that were of interest and made great restaurant recommendations. We learned and saw a ton within the day tour which made it well worth the money. Ani was the best guide we’ve ever had. He took us to his favorite spots and also stopped along the way if we saw anything else that interested us. He was well informed and always up for taking photos of us. His driving was very safe and the car comfortable and pleasant. He even provided Norwegian snacks and water which were much appreciated. Wonderful experience. Easy pickup instructions. Good communication with quick response. Ani, was accommodating, knowledgeable, professional. Great value and would highly recommend if tour looking for relaxing scenic adventure. Not to strenuous but some hiking was available if we choose to do so. Was able to see all the falls without hiking.

This tour met my expectations. I would book again Good communication before hand with prompt response to questions. This was not physically strenuous or overly demanding. Our group ages 60 to 72 with some physical limitations .

We, a party of 10 of us arrived in Bergen whilst cruising the Norwegian Fjords. After a short chat with Ani, our group decided to book a private guided tour with NorwayFarers to visit the HardangerFjord and do some city sightseeing in Bergen too. Ani was very approachable and was happy to adjust the itinerary so as to accomodate us and ensure we were able to enjoy beautiful Bergen within the time we had at port. He also planned it such that we would safely be able to get to the ship in good time. Communication prior to Arrival was very good.... Ani made some good suggestions and also very prompt in responding back to all our messages / emails. On arrival, our pick up was prompt. We were met by the driver soon after we got off the ship. Both the driver as well as Ani were very very informative - they were both also very good at keeping the kids not just entertained but also interested in the tour... the kids have come back with interesting short stories and fun Bergen Facts thanks to Ani and Li'l Erik. Ani also went out of his way for us as we wanted to celebrate a birthday while we were in Bergen .... he arranged for us to celebrate the Norwegian way . ..with a yummy home made Chocolate Cake and the yummiest Home made Cinammon Buns. We all enjoyed an awesome trip with Ani and Li'l Erik... we have come back to London with such beautiful memories of Bergen and also some very fun stories. The kids still say they want to come back to see the Trolls and their toilet paper 🤣🤣🤣
